20.Her Feelings, His Ignorance

Life has been like blooming roses for our couple since past few months. Everything had became normal now.The family adored Mehek as their own daughter and why not? she was the perfect daughter in law for the family and not only that she had also proved herself as the worthy Rani Sa for Rajasthan.

A few days back she talked to the great Rajmata and Rajaji of the state and seek their permissions and ideas for setting up a small orphanage  for tortured souls like her. After, what happened to her she did not want any other innocent soul's childhood to be traumatizing and disturbing. 

After listening to her arguements and talks the elderly couple readily agreed.

The air between Mehek and Abeer had been shy but not akkward.They were gradually becoming close but left no point at fighting with each other.Yesterday only Abeer by mistakenly used Mehek's eye cream mistaking it to be a mosturiser and applied it all over his face.The bottle was empty leading Mehek to be pissed off and calling Abeer "Mr.Sadu" a little loudly which led to a fight and them finally landing on for a pillow fight destroying the room.

But Ladne se toh pyaar badhta hai na??

Abeer's care and possessiveness over Mehek had increased over time.He made sure to make her smile even through their childish fights.On the other hand Mehek was feeling something in her heart whenever they were close.In fact, the way he was taking care of her made her feel butterflies in her stomach.

Earlier she mistook it for a stupid crush and continuously denied her developing feelings for him but after what happened yesterday she knew what she was feeling

Flashback

Mehek POV

We were laughing wholeheartedly after he told me about his childhood antics. I could not believe this was Abeer Malhotra sitting in front of me laughing. His laugh looked beautiful especially the way his eyes twinkled.

Abeer picked me up from the hospital and we went to have ice cream. The past few months have been a pure bliss to me. The way he cared for me was making me feel lively. I felt like I had a reason to live.

Suddenly he asked," Which flavour Rani Saheba?".

I chuckled and replied"Chocolate"

He dramatically bowed and replied saying" Your wish is my order."

He quickly went across the road to talk to the vendor.Sometimes this guy really doesn't seem like the Rana sa of Rajasthan. 

He was talking to the vendor as I gazed around. There was a car completely diminished and in a poor condition.Seemed like it had a bad accident.My heart raced looking at it's condition.Recently I operated a few patients going through quick accidents and driving rashly.

I stepped out of the car to get some fresh air.My heart rushed seeing the speed of the truck.He suddenly glanced at me and smiled. I passed him a weak smile as well. He paid the vendor and carefully took to ice cream to come towards me when suddenly a huge car rushed towards him and I couldn't help but go and push him to the other side of the road and

Screeeeeccchhh!!

The driver pulled the break on to get down the car.I looked up to see Abeer and look at his condition.Tears flowed from my eyes.I carressed his face and asked him panic stricken

" Aap thik toh hai na? Aap ko kuch hua toh nahi?Aap bhi dekhar nahi aa sakte kya kitne lahparwah hai aap"

but I could speak further he shushed me saying" Relax I am fine."

He went over to the driver and scolded him.

I had already lost some loved ones but now I cannot lose him. This isn't a crush.On no time I had developed feelings for him. YES!! I LOVE HIM!!

Flashback end

Mehek realised her feelings however Abeer was still skeptical and unaware of her feelings. He couldn't help but feel for her too but decided to ignore his feelings . He had already hurt Mehek a lot but now decided to repay her by taking care of her.

Mehek on the contrast, was in an imaginary world unable to control her feelings. She could not understand how she fell for this stupid man. She literally hated and chided such men but today she feels that inside this heartless Abeer lies a heart of a child which is only in need of love.
