"Do you have any idea what it felt like to see you lying there, motionless, fighting for your life? I thought I had lost you.""

                                                                                                                                          : Abeer Malhotra

Abeer sat in the grand boardroom of the Mehrotra Group of Industries, his mind preoccupied with thoughts of Mehek. The meeting was supposed to be about discussing the expansion plans for their business empire, but his heart was elsewhere.

Suddenly, his phone rang, breaking the silence of the room. Abeer glanced at the caller ID and felt his heart skip a beat. It was the hospital.

Without hesitation, he answered the call, his hands trembling with anticipation. The voice on the other end delivered news that sent a surge of emotions coursing through his veins. Mehek had woken up from her coma.

Abeer's heart pounded in his chest as he struggled to contain his overwhelming joy. He excused himself from the meeting, his mind racing with thoughts of seeing Mehek again after what felt like an eternity.

As he rushed out of the building, his childhood friend and business partner, Rohan Mehrotra, intercepted him in the lobby. "Where do you think you're going, Abeer?" Rohan asked, his tone laced with irritation.

Abeer's temper flared at the interruption, his emotions raw from the news of Mehek's awakening. "My wife has woken up from her coma, Rohan," he replied curtly, his voice tinged with a hint of warning. "I need to be with her."

Rohan's expression softened slightly at the mention of Mehek, but he still persisted. "You can't just leave in the middle of a meeting, Abeer," he argued. "We have important matters to discuss."

Abeer's patience wore thin as he glared at Rohan. "Mehek is my priority, Rohan," he snapped, his voice cold and authoritative. "You would do well to remember your place. I own the place you are standing on and have the capability to throw you off this building and even wipe your existence from this world."

Rohan recoiled at Abeer's sharp words, his eyes widening in surprise. He opened his mouth to protest, but Abeer cut him off with a dismissive wave of his hand.

"I'll deal with you later," Abeer said dismissively, his focus solely on reaching the hospital as quickly as possible. With that, he turned on his heel and strode out of the building, leaving Rohan staring after him in disbelief.

As Abeer arrived at the hospital, his heart pounded with anticipation. He rushed to Mehek's room, his steps quickening with each passing moment. When he saw her sitting up in bed, her eyes wide with wonder and confusion, he felt a rush of emotions overwhelm him.
