It's been a while, I know. Sorry. Good news is that it's spring break so I'll have a chance to write more. So on with the story!

After lunch, Taylor had to head back to his hotel room, so we decided to meet up later at the pool.

I was speaking with my mom in the hotels restaurant, when we heard a lot of yelling. I looked up and saw Joe in a argument with some man. The man was at least 5 inches taller than him and had bigger muscles. I don't know why but I found my self standing up to go help him. I knew that if I didn't do something, Joe was gonna get hurt. Very badly.

"You're good for nothing. You're just a piece a trash that I have to carry around. I don't even know why I even try with you. If it wasn't for your mother, you'd be out in the streets."

As I got closer I couldn't help but gasp at the words this man was saying to him. I could see the look in Joe's eyes. He was broken, but you couldn't tell if you just looked at his face. No Joe looked angry and I could see that his fist was curled by his side.

The man was still talking by the time I got to Joe's side. They hadn't noticed me yet. I decided that I had to get Joe out. I knew if I didn't, then Joe would hit this man.

"Joe, is everything alright?" I said while placing my hand on his arm.

That's when they noticed me. The man shut up and Joe turned to stare at me. I couldn't tell if he was angry or embarrassed.

"Everything is fine Taylor. You should go back to your family."

"Yeah little girl, listen to this loser."

I could see the smirk on the guys face and I didn't ignore the fact that he was staring at my chest. I was so distracted by the man that I didn't notice Joe swinging his fist to the mans face. I stepped back a bit, afraid to get hit but then I quickly grabbed Joes hand and pulled him so he would follow me.

And we ran.

We seamed to be in some deserted hall way by the time we stopped running. We were leaning on opposite sides of the wall. He could probably tell I was out of shape by the way I was breathing.

"Why?"

I looked up and noticed him sitting on the ground.

"Why what?"

"Why did you help me."

I hesitated before answering. I was asking myself the same question. Why?

"I don't know. I guess, I just knew I had to." I finally answered. That sounded about right.

"Well thank you."

I looked over and saw tears in his eyes.

And I knew in that moment. That I had gotten him all wrong. Joe was definitely not trouble.

I don't plan on this being a love triangle thing. But who knows what might happen. I may be the writer but even I don't know where this is going.

I might up date later or I might update Look After You.

Thank you.
