(T.S pov)
I freeze as I hear the sound of knocking on my door. Right beside me, Joe groans in his sleep and rolls around the bed. My hands shake as I head toward the door. I hope and pray it's not Taylor. Although they were pretty civil yesterday, I don't know how he would react to Joe being in my room. Especially on my bed.
"Taylor hunny, open the door. I know your up missy."
I send a silent thank you to the man upstairs as I open the door. At the sametime I realize that mom would take it just as bad as Taylor. I start to panic as I face her happy smiling face.
Why is she always so happy?
" Hey mom. What's up?" I say nervously.
" Why goodmorning sweet child of mine. I was wondering if you would like to spend the day with your dear old mother." She gives me the mom look. The one that says you better not say no or else look.
" Oh er- okay. Just give me a bit to get ready. I'll meet you in the lobby."
"Okay sweetheart."
And just when I think I'm in the clear.
"Taylor do you have any water?" Joe says loudly behiend me.
I slap my forehead and hang my head. I don't want to see the look on my moms face. I feel her brush past me and I hear her gasp. I finally look to see Joe looking tired and confused as he looks at me and my mom.
"Taylor Alison Swift. Explain yourself."
"Mom it's not what it looks like I swear! Joe needed help and a place to stay. Just look at his face." She takes a closer look at Joe and gasps as she see's the brusies on his face.
"Oh my sweet child, who did this to you!"
"Its complicated miss." Joe finally says.
"Then uncomplicate it for me. I believe Taylor said your name was Joe. Was it that greaseball of a man yelling at you the other day?" My mom must have recognized him from the other day.
"Yes m'am. How did you know?"
"Mother knows best." She says before marching out of the room. "Don't worry son. I will take care of this. What was you last name?"
"Jonas."
"Well Joe Jonas. You have nothing to be worried about. Mama Swift will take care of everthing."
She then closes the door without another word.
