(T.S.pov)

After my mom had left the room, we took turns freshing up in the bathroom. Changing into some high waisted shorts and a cute top. As we headed out I noticed the look on Joes face.

"What's running through your mind Joe?"

"Take one guess."

"Your dad? Don't worry Joe. My mom will sort this out." I gave him a confident nod. I knew my mom was just like me- passionate and determined. When we had a goal we made sure to stick to it until we succeeded.

I could see that he didn't believe me so I reached over to him and grabbed his hand- squeezing it lightly as the elevator doors opened. As I was letting go, I made eye contact to the person in the elevator.

Taylor.

Although I knew we were doing nothing wrong I was aware of how this looked.

"What is going on here?" Taylor said surprisingly very calm.

"Look dude, it's not what it seems." Joe said while raising his hands in the air as if Taylor was cop and he was criminal.

"Taylor?"

"He's right. I was just reassuring him that everything was gonna turn out fine. I swear."

"What is he doing here this early? And in the same cloths as yesterday."

"Oh, uh hekindaspentthenightinmyroom." I rushed out.

"HE WHAT!?" His face was red and his fists were clenched at his side. He took a step towards Joe- while I jumped in front of him.

"Wait! Let us explain, please!"

He glared over my shoulder while while I rushed out the explanation. His glare softened until finally he looked calm again. I stepped toward him, wrapping my arms around him.

Stepping back, he gave Joe a 'man hug' before we all stepped inside the elevator.
