A day had passed since the tragic deaths of Lily and James potter and Tanya Degurechaff. In the quiet of the night a cat was watching over a house with unsuspecting people the cat noticed the streetlights going out and just like magic turned into an older lady.
A man came out of the shadows and said "ah Minerva I suspected that you would show up here tonight"
"Albus I've been watching over these muggles all day and they are just the most horrible people, can't we leave him and that other boy with anyone else?"
The man named Albus Dumbledore replied saying "I'm afraid not, these people are the only family the potter boy has"
"I understand that but surely we could leave the Degurechaff boy with someone else" Mcgonagal said
"It's not as simple as you think, there was a note left for who I assume was the only person his mother trusted but there seems to be no record of her and even if she exists i assume she knows that he who shall not be named was hunting her friend and if she took him in she could suffer the same fate" Dumbledore said
"Understandable, what did the note say?"Mcgonagal asked
"It revealed the location of what he was after and I found it, we probably shouldn't give it to the boy now but we shall keep it at hogwarts and should he accept the letter when he turns of age we shall give it to him when the time is right." Dumbledore replied
After talking they heard a motorcycle engine and looked up to see the groundskeeper of hogwarts, hagrid with the two boys.
He landed and took both babies in his arms
"Ello headmaster, professor" Hagrid said
"Good evening Hagrid I assume you had a safe flight?" Asked Dumbledore
"Yep no problems a'all, this little tike fell asleep as soon as we were over the bridge" he said pointing to Harry
"But uh this one was a little feisty but nothing tha I couldn't do, he was calm when I turned on the radio" continued Hagrid
He placed both babies on the step of the house and started to cry
"I'm gonna miss these two" Hagrid said
"Do not worry Hagrid, in time they will both know who they are and what their purpose is."
AN: so I'll try and shorten the chapters as much as possible but I do want to know if you'd rather me do every book individually or just do the events of everything all in this one book and that way I can shorten chapters or take things out.
