Chapter 1 Operation Morningstar

A few weeks later
After a few weeks at the hotel, everything has been going great... except for the fact that my sponsorship and performances haven't drawn in any new sinner's who want to redeem themselves. We have the Radio demon, Hell's best male singer and THE Princess of Hell here to promote the hotel and no one wants to give it a try?!

I sighed as I sat at the table and eating breakfast with the others. It felt like I was letting Charlie down. After breakfast, I immediately went back to my room, feeling defeated.

There was a knock on my door so I got up and walked over to my door then opened it to see someone I wasn't expecting. It was Vaggie. "Let me come in. I need to talk to you." She told me with a serious look on her face. I let her in and closed my door then turned off my TV.

I raised an eyebrow at her, a bit confused on why she needed to talk to me. "What's up? Something wrong?" I asked her curiously before I sat on my bed, inviting her to come sit down with the nod of my head.

She sat on the other side of the bed, still fully serious. "Does Lucifer want to see Charlie again?" She asked me which shocked me. What type of question is that?! "She wants to have a relationship with him but she's too scared to talk to him. I want your help getting them to talk again." She told me then she looked me in the eyes, waiting for me to respond.

I nodded and looked at her with determination. "Do you have a plan?" I asked her and she nodded, a small smile on her face.

"So you know how we're not really doing well on getting new guests at the hotel?" She asked me and I nodded sadly, a bit disappointed by that fact. "Well we can convince Charlie to call Lucifer for help and get him to come here. Plus, since you're here too, there's an even better chance of him coming." She told me with motivation in her voice. I've started to see a lot of similarities between me and her and Lucifer and Charlie.

I nodded again and held my hand out. "Looks like we're on the same page so I'll help you. Let's put this plan into action in a few days." I told her and she shook my hand. I could've almost swore I saw some sort of light glow as we shook hands but I just ignored it.

A few days later
It was early in the morning and me, Niffty, Husk and Sir Pentious were watching as Charlie was muttering with a large board in front of her. It kinda worried me to be honest.

Angel and Vaggie walked over too, Angel looking like he had pity for and Vaggie looking worried. "Yikes." Angel said with a pained look on his face. I looked at Vaggie and nudged her, making her glare at me at first then realize what I was doing.

"Charlie?... Sweetie? You, uh. You good?" She asked her girlfriend as said girlfriend was probably on the brink of a panic attack.

Charlie immediately turned around and her eyes were red, looking like she hasn't slept in days. "Nope, no! Not really! Haha! I've been up all night trying to figure out why the hotel isn't working. We've done trust falls. We've tried sharing our feelings. We only have a couple mouths before the angel's come." After that she grows her demon horns and laughs like she's manic. I'm not fully sure if she isn't manic. "And at this rate-" She was cut off by Vaggie now.

"Maybe it's time-" Vaggie started to say but Charlie interrupted her this time.

"No!" She said as she turned her head to her girlfriend.

"To ask-" Vaggie was once again cut off but I know that won't stop.

"Don't say it." Charlie said as she held her girlfriend's face. This was making me even more nervous. Maybe it's not the right-

"Your dad." Vaggie finally finished saying which made Charlie groan in annoyance. "Charlie, I know you don't want to but we need every advantage we can get." She told Charlie before tucking a piece of hair behind Charlie's ear.
