(Percy)

I was walking back to my cabin after the fight so I could clear my head. As I was walking I thought I saw someone run into the forest, so I decided to follow them and make sure they weren't in any trouble. I ran to the edge of the forest and as I was running I pulled out my sword riptide. I ran into the forest and I saw that one of the paths was covered with broken branches, leaves and their was footprints leading down the path. I saw that their was some other paths but they hadn't seemed to have been used in awhile. I walked as quietly as I possibly could down the path. Soon I reached a clearing. In the clearing there was some old ruins that looked like they had been here for a very long time. I followed the footprints through the ruins to the entrance of a temple. I looked around the entrance of the temple for any signs of who this temple was dedicated to but their was nothing I could see that showed any signs which god the temple was dedicated to. I stepped into the temple and I saw a figure kneeling in front of a giant statue. The figure was wearing all black and he had a hood pulled up so I couldn't see who he was. I decided to step closer to the statue so I could read the plaque underneath the statue. It said that this temple was dedicated to Tartarus. I gasped, I couldn't help it I had never heard of a temple dedicated to anyone that wasn't one of the gods and also I didn't think anyone would be praying to him. The figure must have heard me because he turned around. I could only see his face but it was enough for me to see who had been kneeling in front of the statue. It was my cousin Nico!
