The war was finally over. I was so happy to spend some time with my girlfriend Annabeth because I hadn't seen her much lately especially with her new job working on the reconstruction on Olympus and since I had started spending time helping with the repairs around camp since their had been a lot of damage the war had caused on the cabins. I had also started showing more campers around since their seemed to be a lot more campers now a days. Since I had a day off from working I decided I wanted to surprise Annabeth so I walked over to her cabin to see her and when I walked inside I saw her and one of the newer Aphrodite camper on her bed making out she was wearing a lot more makeup then usual and had books strewn on the floors here they must have fallen when they started kissing. She must have heard the door open because she looked away from the boy. When she saw me her face went pale. "It's not what it looks like, please listen," She pleaded. " Seriously" I yelled. "We survived through Tartarus together and two wars yet as soon as we get back to camp you cheat on me. What is wrong with you." And then I decided to tell her something I had never told her. "Do you remember how I went into the River so I could win the war against Kronaus. Can I tell you why I survived. Well it's because I loved you and you helped me get through all the pain." Then I turned around and ran out of her cabin with tears streaming down my face. As I ran I heard her voice behind me "Percy please let me explain, it's not what it looks like." But I didn't care and as I ran into my cabin I locked the cabin door behind me. I couldn't believe she would do this to me, I thought as I lay down on my bed crying. I seriously had thought that we would be together for ever and nothing could get in the way of how we felt about each other. I curled up under the blankets and cried myself to sleep.
