I quickly style behind one of the pillars and stood their watching Nico in shock. What was he doing in a temple dedicated to Tartarus? Nico must've thought he imagined the sound because he turned around. Thank the Gods he didn't see me. I watched as he pulled out a knife from his back pocket. The knife had a black handle with a ruby in the center and I didn't recognize what the blade was made of. He raised the knife in the air and for a second a thought he was going to throw the knife towards me but instead he used it to cut a symbol of some sort on a pillar next to the statue. A portal opened in front of him. I jumped out form behind the column and ran at him so he couldn't go through the portal. He spun around and when he saw me he tried to run through the portal but he didn't turn around fast enough and I grabbed the back of his sweater before he could run through the portal. Nico uttered a string of curse words as I pulled him away from the portal and towards the columns surrounding the statue. I found some rope on the floor and tied him against one of the columns. "What were you trying to do," I asked. "None of your business," he replied. "Seriously Nico, what are you doing." He looked at the floor and refused to answer. I decided I should go get help but I needed him to answer one question first. "Nico, could you please just answer one of my questions," I asked. He continued to look at the floor and nodded his head. "What we're you doing in a temple dedicated to Tartarus and what are you trying to do." Nico looks at me and then says "That's 2 questions but I'll answer the second question. I'm working with Tartarus." Then I heard a loud bang behind me. I turned around again and saw someone coming through the portal. Then I felt a sharp pain on the back of my head and I blacked out.
