I love you.

He chose to break my heart with three words, eight letters.

One Message from Daddy-long-legs

Crap. Another text message from him.

I locked and unlocked my phone several times.

It took me 12:20am to finally muster the courage to read his message.

It was two-statement short. It was short but the effect still made me at a loss for words. My eyes darted off to the last words.

Daddy-long-legs:  Merry Christmas! I love you, Siri.

You know the feeling? It felt like diving into the deepest ocean while holding your breath long enough that you forgot your body needed air for survival.

After fighting the constant battle in my head, I pressed the Send button.

05:20am

Me:  It'll be nice if youve said it in person :P  Merry Christmas!

Ok. That was a stupid reply. I know, don't blame me. I'm not really good at this.

My phone vibrated.

Daddy-long-legs: haha :D

And Christmas Day had come again.

Have you ever experienced waking up feeling giddy to the bones with that simple good-morning text from him/her? I know right. The feels is too much to handle.

I remember this boy from my class. We were seatmates so we kinda got close to each other. When he got my number for the group project, I secretly freaked out and had a little daydream that he liked me. Lol. Well, yeah, he even added me on one of my social accounts. Perks of being a seatmate. You got to know him more! Haha

What d'you think? If you have the same story, let's hear it from you in the Comment section.

Oh, and if you're starting to like how the story is going, don't forget to vote, vote, vote!
