Back story of Jervis and Siri

Flashback
"Yo, Siri!"
The Helping-Others-Magnify-Education club president Ervine followed suit when I walked out of the room. The HOME Club had just called for a meeting to discuss about the new rules for the school festival and Ervine grabbed the opportunity to welcome new members as well. He was a nice, short, average-looking guy, my senior and a Student Council representative so I was caught by surprise when he suddenly approached me.
"Hey, Pres!" was my short reply. I looked at my new-found friend and a fellow club member with a questioning look which Rae just shrugged.
"D'you have any fave ice cream flavor? Just wondering how you'd feel if someone asks you out to grab ice cream on Friday."
Woah. That was... random.
I could see that he was seriously waiting for my honest answer. I didn't want to make an impression that I was being unfriendly, not to mention that I was a new member. "Cool. I love rocky road and coffee crumble." I said with my thoughts on who this mystery "someone" was.
Answering the nagging question in my head, he disclosed the detailed information much to my surprise. "He keeps on talking about you since yesterday. And he's been pestering me if you like ice cream. So... I wanna do him a favor." His expression suddenly changed and grew amused when he saw something, no, someone behind me. "Hey, bro. She loves ice cream."
Another senior club member walked towards us. I remembered him. The guy I caught staring at me in the cafeteria.

Jervis: u home?
Me: yeah. Why'd u ask?
It's getting a habit. A very bad habit of asking why to all things.
*Beep
Jervis: Nah. About to ask if u wanna grab ice cream at the park on the way home. Sucks.
Me: maybe next time. let's ask the others and check out the new pizza parlor. That'd be lovely.
Jervis: Sure. I'm happy we're friends now. 'night.
He was so weird.

"Seen the new hot chick?"
"She has this angelic Korean look."
"I heard she's friends with Bonnie and Freya. Grade school buddies."
"Cheerleader material."
"Oh, no, she's probably joining Bonnie in the HOME Club soon."

"Last on the list we have Bonnie, Jervis, Siri, Grey, Wilbur and Marie. You're in the Creative Team. Ok, guys, let's wrap up and make this year the coolest Christmas party ever." Ervine packed up his things and excused himself to catch the Student Council meeting upstairs.
Wilbur would always be Wilbur. He came prepared and with great enthusiasm, laid out his brilliant plan. "Let's do a musical rom-com stage play. It doesn't have to be the lovebirds Bonnie and Grey. We need to show something fresh. Jervis and... Marie. Why not?"

Gravity is what makes pieces of matter clump together into planets, moons, and stars.
The statement caught my eyes when I woke up from a head-on-desk nap. I suddenly found humor in it. I wiped away sleepiness in my once-again-getting-heavy eyelids and stretched out my arms and legs stiff from sleeping in a sitting position. Nearly forgot tomorrow starts finals week. I got back to my unfinished business, Science.
This past few weeks, I had been busy with school stuff, mainly club activities. I only got time to review for finals three nights ago and here I was in my room cramming for the last subject on the list. And darn, my unconscious mind never let me get away without some little distraction.
I was starting to enjoy the company of Ervine's old notes he let me borrowed. Oh, dear Jesus, Mr. Johnson! What kind of practice question is this? Who, in his right mind, would try to debunk a genius theory like Big Bang? Then it dawned me. Science would forever be my least liked subject. The only good thing about Science? It's true whether or not you believe in it.

Sorry, Siri. I love Science! Who wouldn't? Science is a never ending mystery to solve. I love how we can still see stars shining brightly above the night sky even though some of them are now dead stars. Cool!
When there's darkness, let there be light. And there was light! My little enlightened ones, we get to know how Siri met the others (Marie included). They were all HOME club members huh. What about you? What club are you in? Share yours below.
