Morgan was going home to Notre Dame and Nolan had been miserable all morning about it. He helped her pack her bags, going as slow as possible in the process. "Do you really have to go?" He asked for the sixth time.

Morgan put down one of her shirts she was folding and sighed. "Nols, honey, that's the sixth time you've asked and it's been the same answer every time. Yes."

He pouted and threw her another shirt. "Why can't you stay for another week? Your parents have barely called you since you've been here." He stated.

She frowned a little at that. "I know, which is why I'm afraid if I don't go back now, they'll probably forget about me."

Nolan frowned. "Sorry, that was insensitive."

The corner of her mouth turned up and she walked around the bed. "It's okay." She reached up and ruffled his red head. "You're driving me to the bus station anyways. That's at least, what, thirty more minutes of Molan time?"

His eyebrows shot up. "Molan time?"

She nodded. "Yeah, Morgan and Nolan time. We're queer best friends for life, buddy." She stated and patted him hard on the back.

Nolan laughed. "Lucky me, I guess." They finished packing and he grabbed her bags. "Are you sure—"

"YES!"

He frowned again. They made their way down the stairs. "But you didn't even get to meet Dustin." He whined.

Morgan looked over her shoulder and smiled. "I'm sure I'll meet him next time I come to visit." She insisted.

"Which is soon, right?"

"Of course, my dear." She climbed into the truck. "Don't forget to tell Steve and Robin I said bye, okay?"

Nolan started the truck. "Of course." He answered and started defying away. He rolled the windows down, the breeze cooling them down.

Morgan turned in the seat and brought her legs to her chest. "So, I gotta ask," she started. "How are you feeling about you and Steve?"

He furrowed his brows and glanced her way. "What do you mean?"

"You can't be in a relationship in public for obvious reasons, but it seems like he's more keen on it than you are. I just hope you're feeling okay about it."

Her concern made him happy but it also made him frown. "I have to be okay with it, M. It's not his fault."

Morgan nodded. "I know. But your feelings still matter."

"He's still my boyfriend. I can kiss him and hug him and laugh with him whenever I want. I don't care if it's in front of an audience or not. I know places we can hide and be together with nobody's input." Half of the statement wasn't true and it was obvious, but Nolan put on a smile to hide it. "Some of us don't even get to do that. So, I'll take it, y'know?"
