Tara's P.O.V

I woke up to the sound of the morning drill, rubbing the sleep from my eyes while forcing myself up. My eyes lingered to the bed beside me, waiting for Zig-Zag to get up from the bed. He doesn't. I smiled and started shaking him. He groaned, rolling away.

"Hey, get up. Time for work." I announce loudly. He still did nothing. I huffed and went around the other side of the bed and proceeded to shake him more.

"Get up, Ziggy! Damn, now I know how you feel." I muttered. His face scrunched up and pulled the pillow over his head.

"Good luck, Jumpy. Last time he was like this it took four of us to get him up." Armpit laughs. I gave him an unamused look and shook Zig  more.

"I swear if you don't get up right now!! I will make your life hell!" I warned, shaking him more. Still nothing. I sulked.

"Oh, come on! Please, I'll give you my meals for the next month just, get up!" I gave an exaggerated groan.

"How is he still sleeping?!" I exclaim and the others laugh.

"Could always carry him." Magnet suggests jokingly, only.. I took it as a challenge. I grinned wickedly.

"Maybe I will." I declare, ripping the blanket off of him. I grabbed his arms, trying to pull him up and over my shoulder, only, he's much taller and heavier than I was anticipating. I struggled to prop him, the others snorting out.

"What are you doing to me?" I heard him ask curiously.

"Okay, okay. I'm up." He said, finally awake.

"Fine, but go back to bed and I'll drag ya by your hair." I warn, walking away.

"Man, that chick is scary sometimes.." Armpit rubs the back of his neck as I wander off ahead to get breakfast. I walk over getting a tortilla before grabbing two shovels. I walked back over to Ziggy who was just now lingering over to get breakfast, eating it slowly as he was still half asleep. I smiled sympathetically, and handed him a shovel. I left before the others to the digging sight, eating my breakfast with my shovel slung over my shoulder.

"Hey! Jumpy, wait up!" I hum, cleaning my hands of the honey that still coated them. I turn back to see Caveman. I slowed down my walking, letting him catch up.

"Hi." He greets as I looked at him, the kid obviously nervous.

"What do you want?" I asked him, giving him a push.

"I uh...well, I was wondering why you didn't turn in what you found." He asked.

"Not my fault if you didn't take it." I mumble back guilty. He shook his hand.

"No, no. I was just wondering.. Why didn't you take the day off?" He wonders. I shrug.

"I like the shoveling. I really have no need to take the day off." I answer simply.

"Why-Why do you like digging so much anyways?" He kept questioning.

"I don't know. I just do, I guess." I shrugged unsure myself.

"Right.." He trailed off, his speed slowing as he seemed in thought.. I raised a brow, looking back at him curiously, the others not much further behind him. I look back ahead, continuing for the dig sight.
