Their second set flew by in the blink of an eye. They won and advanced to the next round. The next opponents were the "Fallen Crows." The nickname felt a bit ominous, but making it to the finals meant they had put in a lot of hard work. Plus, they had defeated Shiratorizawa, so they were definitely a strong team. With the boys' matches done for the day, it was time for the girls to showcase their hard work.

"Onita Girls' Academy vs Inarizaki High," was announced as both teams lined up on either side of the court. After bowing, the captains shook hands. We won the toss and chose to serve. Kumiko stepped up and scored four consecutive points. When their blocker served, Ikari received it and passed it to Akiko, who set it up for Y/n. With a perfect line shot, Y/n earned a point.

The match ended 2-0 in our favor. The first day was behind us, and we returned to our accommodations to relax. The girls decided to visit the sauna in the hotel, making it an easy choice.

While we were there, Rin called. I answered but told him I couldn't talk at the moment. He asked if I was hiding something, and I mentioned we were at the hot spring. He hung up right after. What was going on with him?

After some time, we returned to our shared rooms and fell asleep until we heard the coach yelling from outside, trying to wake us for the tournament. Of course, he didn't dare enter the girls' rooms, so he kept shouting until we finally called out that we were awake.

We got ready quickly and rushed out to meet the boys and coach, who looked annoyed and shot us death glares, which made us laugh. I caught Suna giving me a small smile before he turned to walk with Osamu. Our team headed to the stadium.

When we arrived, the other teams were already practicing, so we changed into our jerseys and got motivated. Our next match was against Iseoka High School, known for their incredible defense, meaning we had to focus on our offense. It was going to be a tough match; after all, it was nationals.

Our match was scheduled to happen before the boys', so we gathered right after the current match ended. We lined up as the other team approached the court. The first set began after the customary bowing and handshake between captains. They won the toss and were set to receive. Fumiko served, and their libero received it.

It was a tense moment at 1-1 in the final set, with Iseoka High at set point. Their captain served, and Kiyo received it, tossing it to Akiko. Fumiko, Ikari, and I sprinted to the net, and I spiked the ball with all my might, successfully landing a cross shot. It was a deuce! Iseoka's coach immediately called for a time-out, giving us a moment to regroup.

When play resumed, I served a top-spin that was received by their Ace, who passed it to the setter. She appeared tired and was poised to go for a dump. I dived to receive it, sending it to Akiko. Instead of passing to Fumiko, she set it to Ikari, who executed a back attack, spiking the ball right through their three-person block. We secured the golden point of the set and won!

After a brief celebration, it was time for the boys' match. With a couple of hours to kill, we decided to explore a bit. Ikari wanted to buy a new pair of knee pads since hers had ripped during the match. I accompanied her to the store while the others grabbed some snacks.

"Black or white?" she asked.

"I prefer black, but it's up to you. Both look great," I replied.

"Yeah, I guess they do, but white gets dirty easily, so I'll go with black."

Soon, all the girls gathered as it was time for the boys' match. We headed back to the stadium, and I walked over to Suna, who was tying his shoelaces. Standing tall above me, he said, "Wish me luck."

"I always do."

"No—not like that. I mean—um..."

I leaned in and planted a soft kiss on his lips, which made him pause.

"You always seem to know what I mean."

"Why wouldn't I? Your beautiful eyes tell me everything I need to know," I replied, and he hugged me as we walked toward the entrance of the court.

"Y/n Senpai!"

Suna stopped and turned, hearing my name called. I looked in the direction of the familiar voice.

"You..."
