I deserve my pain.../Mixful Journey oneshot

Schnix sobbed and cried up at the moonlight on a lonely hill, their claws wrapped around them tight. Schnix bawled out every single tear within their eyes. All while thinking that they deserved everything that happened to them.

Being sealed, rejected, abandoned, it finally got to them and they believed they deserved it ALL.

- "I-I deserve it..." Schnix muttered to themselves while chuckling. "I'm just a no good trouble maker..."

Schnix burried their face in their own arms, suddenly a hand was placed on their shoulder.

"No, you don't..."

Schnix slowly raised their head, they were confused, but suddenly saw Swetzer beside them.

- "S-Swetzer...? What.. what are you doing here...?"

- "I was lookin' for you..." Swetzer said as she sat beside them.

Schnix turned away from her slightly.

- "You shouldn't have..." They sniffled. "Just-go back to the others... I deserve to be alone.."

This hurt Swetzer's heart, she began speaking again.

- "No you don't, you don't deserve to be alone, you didn't deserve pain.. you didn't deserve any of that... What they did and said to you was a load of grit..." She said as she wiped the tear's of Schnix's little face. "Besides, you're still s kid... It's mucked up.

Schnix stared at Swetzer for some moments.

- "Do you mean it..?" They asked.

- Swetzer nods. "A whole lot..."

This caused Schnix to immediately hug Swetzer and bawl their eyes out once more, Swetzer responded by wrapping them in an embrace.

- "Th-The fact that you care so much.. m-means a lot to me..." Schnix said.

- "Of course I do.." Swetzer said with a soft smile.

"I'll always care about you..."
