"Hey bud, do you have a minute to talk?" I ask Victorias brother over the phone. "Yeah, what's up?" He says "um well you know your sister and i anniversary is coming up in a couple days. I have plans to propose to her that day. I wanted to ask you for your permission because you are Vic's everything and her best friend." I say "Thank you for asking Tom. You make vic so happy, my dad would be happy his daughter found someone like you. You have my permission Tom." He says "Thank you. You're the best." I say and we hang up.
I have planned to propose to Vic on our anniversary in a couple days. We have plans to take photos for our anniversary and have a little photo shoot. I really planned with the photographer to actually shoot a proposal instead. Vic has no idea but I knew asking her brother was important to her.
I wanted to be respectful of her parents regardless of everything. I know vic wanted her brother to know everything going on, and also his opinion matters. It always will.
I can't wait to make this girl my fiancé and be able to have forever with her.
3 days later
Victorias POV
I wake up and let Hudson out the backyard to go potty. I make a coffee and then go into the bathroom to do my makeup for the photo shoot me and Tom are having today because it's our 3 year anniversary of dating.
"Happy anniversary." I say to him as he walks in to brush his teeth "Happy anniversary baby" he says kissing my cheek "we've made it to 3 years ." I say "And forever is to come." He says jokingly cause I always say that to him.
I finish my makeup and pick my outfit:

Tom is wearing an outfit with blue hues in it so we match in a cute way. I finish my hair and throw my shoes on. I let Hudson in and finish the laundry and then we head out.
Our home has been so amazing. We have a routine and we just have so much more space. We also don't have any distance separating us which has made our relationship so amazing. I missed not having him around all the time.
We arrive at this mountain view that also has access to a lake. It's stunning. I've always wanted photos here. I told Tom One time when we drove by this would be a great place to get proposed at and we both just smiled and laughed.
Once we park we start walking over to where we are gonna take photos and see the photographer. She starts telling us what to do for the photos and so we start the photos. "You look stunning." Tom tells me as we pose with our backs to the camera. "You look quite handsome." I say smiling and we continue.
Toms POV
we are taking photos right now and doing various shots that the photographer and I talked about. And then we are doing one where we are back to back. The photographer tells us to stay there for a moment and that's my cue to turn around and take the ring out and get on one knee.
"Ok you guys are good you can turn around." The photographer says and vic turns around and sees me. "Tom stop" she says and tears start flooding her eyes "Hey" I say "Hi" she says smiling "You are the best thing that has ever happened to me. You make me a better man, you make me feel loved, I love loving you. You are my forever and I can't wait to spend it with you. I never knew that going on love island would land me here but I am forever grateful because it brought me you. So Victoria Monroe, will you marry me?" I say and she's crying "yes, of course." She says bending down to kiss me and I stand up "Tom this is insane, we're engaged." She says holding my face in her hands "We're engaged baby, here let's put the ring on." I say grabbing her hand to put the ring on. "My god this is stunning" she says "so now we also have engagement photos" I say as well "You're cheeky." Vic says wiping her tears.
We finished the photos and drove home and called our friends and family. Everyone was so happy for us and we told Hudson the news and we felt like one little family. Our life was so amazing already and it just keeps getting better.
