"Tom hurry up we have to go or we'll be late to the cake tasting." I say to Tom loudly as I'm standing at the front door "I'm coming, sorry Casey was blabbing and I couldn't shut him up" Tom says and I laugh. We head out the door and into the car and drive over to the bakery where we will be sampling cakes for our big day.
We enter the bakery and are taken to a room In the back. The owner Donna was good friends with my mom, when she heard we were getting married she offered to make our cake. I always love when people who knew my mom share memories of her, and Donna never fails at remembering the happy memories her and my mom had.
"Hello sweetheart." Donna says coming in the room and hugging me and Tom. "Hey Donna." I say "Ok let's get this party started, first up we've got the vanilla bean cake with vanilla bean frosting." She says and we go on to taste it "It's simple but never fails." I say "Kids will love it, what are we thinking for how many layers?" Tom asks "You said about three for the size of our party right?" I ask Donna "Yeah I'm thinking three is our best bet." She says "ok, let's try some others and we can decide at the end." I say "Next is cookies and cream." Donna says and we eat "that is heavenly." I say "well that's a must." Tom says and we agree that's gonna be the biggest layer. "Next we have vanilla bean and raspberry cream." She says and we try it. "I don't love fruit with my dessert." I say "just like your momma." Donna says and I smile at her "I like it and not all will want sweet." Tom says "we could do the raspberry as the smallest and the middle vanilla bean?" I ask and say to Tom. "We can also do funfetti and vanilla bean cream." Donna says "let's do that." Tom says "Perfect," I say and we confirm all the details for the cake.
After that we drove home and enjoyed the rest of the day.
A week later
Today is the day I am trying on dresses. Lana is coming, my friends Hailey and Chloe and Tom's mom and sister are as well. I am so excited and so are they.
We get to the dress shop and start looking at dresses. "I'm so happy for you and excited." Lana says "Aw you're too sweet." I say "You deserve this." She says "You do too." I say "I'm glad you found love on the show but I'm also glad I found you." She says "I am so happy I met you, we're partners in crime forever." I say hugging her.
I go in the change room and try on the first dress:

I walk out and they are all in awe. "You look stunning." Toms sister says "thank you." I say "What do you think?" Hailey asks "I like the silhouette but I don't know if I love how plain it is. I want something that has a bit more to it." I say and they all agree so I head back to try on some other ones.

"Ok I love the idea I just don't love the strapless it's not my vibe entirely." I say "I think I just prefer the look of straps." I say as well and they also all agree.
I then walk out in another dress, and everyone has tears in there eyes. "Victoria you look stunning." Chloe says "oh honey you look beautiful." Toms mom also says wiping tears "Guys I..." I say and start crying myself "I love it." I manage to mumble out "Are you happy in it?" Lana asks "Yeah, it's the one I'm gonna marry my best friend for life in." I say crying "your mom would be so happy for you sweetie." Tom's mom says and stand up to hug me and holds while I cry. "I miss her so much everyday but especially today." I say and she nods "She's always with you." she says "i want to put a patch-of my moms dress under so shes with me all day that day." i say and they all smile at the idea and the seamstress agrees that she can do that.
After the long and busy day i got back home and walked in. Hudson ran over and i gave him hugs and kisses. "Did you find the dress?" tom asks walking over "yup, but im not showing you obviously." i say and he smiles pulling me in for a kiss "I cant wait to marry you." he says "Me either." i say smiling.
this day could not come soon enough, im ready to marry this boy i love so much.
