Tara's P.O.V

After we had finished the rest of the Sploosh, we set out for our new destination. Hector walked with his shovel, the sun was quick to resume its assault. I hummed tentatively, casually walking alongside Caveman, purposely avoiding looking in his direction.
"So.. Did uh.. Did Ziggy, say anything after I left?" I ask slowly, still not looking at him whatsoever. I could almost see the humorous look they shared despite not looking at them, my brow twitching at the sound of him suppressing a huge grin as he spoke.
"Yeah, actually. Me and him actually got in a small argument about it too. But nothing happened." He deliberately tells me some, leaving out key details, major factors and important information he knew I wanted to know.

"And?" I pushed.
"What? Wait, what happened after I left?" Zero asked cluelessly, glancing at both Caveman and I. I couldn't help but let a laugh out as I thought back to the events that transpired.
"Well, before she ran after you, she uh. She told-" Caveman started as I cringed and shielded myself from him with my arms up, as if trying to block him out somehow.

"Nope. Nope. We're not talking about that. Mhmm. Not today." I shake my head, this only making Zero even more interested. Zero smirks as he glances at me, pushing Caveman to continue.

"She told him she was still mad at him, and then started kissing him, dude. You should have seen the other guys' reaction!" I wallowed in fake misery, them joking heavily on the matter.

"No way!" I yelled out at Zero's exclamation of disbelief and humor. A smile formed on my face despite me wanting it too.
"I had a feeling you liked him." I rolled my eyes at his next comment, giving him a light shove as we still walked.

"You?! The whole camp knew! All besides maybe Zig-Zag himself. He thinks I'm clueless.." I snort at this, slapping my hands of my face at this.

"Stop! Wait.. Did.. Did the whole camp really know?" I asked, suddenly even more aware of my feelings and obvious signs of affection I've probably shown towards the boy. The two share a look, turning back to me simultaneously.

"I'm sure not the whole camp kne-" Zero starts, only to be cut off abruptly by Caveman.

"Nah, they knew." I stared at him straight-faced, eyes dull as they burst out laughing at this.

"Oh, ha-ha.."

We began our descent up the large mountain, already feeling the strain this trip was going to put on us before we even started.

"This place is huge!" I cried. We started up the dangerous trek ahead of us. I nod, mentally preparing myself.

"We better get up before dark." Stanley comments strategically.

"Alright, you two start. I'll trail behind in case one of y'all lose footing. Try not to.." I smile innocently, holding an arm for them in a gesture. They stare at me now for a moment, looking between each other, as if mentally prepping themselves. Stanley nodded, patting a hand on Hector's shoulder as reassurance, which I think was more for himself than Zero. As Zero wasted no time to start climbing, Caveman though, stalled an extra second. I sighed as he finally got a move on, trudging behind the other two.
