Karasuno | Tsukishima

You are Shirosaki Kaori. You are in the same class as Tsukiashima Kei in Karasuno High first year. You have heard rumours about him having a crush on you, but you didn't mind about it and still be friends with him because you also have a small crush on him.

Shirosaki Kaori's POV

After I woke up on a Sunday morning, I saw a flyer in my house's entrance. I picked it up to have a good look at it, it was about a new opened cafe at the mall near Sendai Station. So I decided to go and try it out. I changed into a cute knitted sweater and a mini skirt, then I headed out to the mall. When I was waiting for the train, a cool breeze blew, and some plum tree petals fell in front of me. ' Spring is coming soon~ ' I thought to myself and looked at the signboard of the station. ' Six more minutes... ' I then leaned on a pole to rest a bit while listening to some music with my headphone. " The train going to Sendai will be arriving at platform 2, please stand behind the yellow dotted lines to... " The announcement played, I opened my eyes and saw a tall figure walked in front of me. It was Tsukishima.

Tsukishima noticed me as well, so he stopped and greeted me. " Good afternoon. Shirosaki. " He said while taking off his headphone, and I took off mine. " Hello Tsukishima. " I smiled replied. The train approached the platform and stopped, we both got on the train and found a place to sit. " Where are you going ? " He asked me curiously. I took out the flyer and showed it to him. " I am going to this cafe. The strawberry dessert are their main menu so I wanted to give it a try. " He then widen his eyes for a second and took out a paper from his pocket. He unfolded it and showed it to me, it was the same flyer that I was holding. " What a coincidence. " He said and smiled a bit. " A smile suits you, Tsukishima. " I replied bit he didn't say a word. I could see that his face was a bit red. " Embarrassed ? " I laughed. He remained silent and looked at the views outside the window. " Would you like to... Go together ? " He asked, still not looking at me, so I looked out the window too. " Sure. " I answered.

Not long later, the train arrived at Sendai Station. We stood up from our seats and exited the train. We searched for the correct exit and started walking to the cafe. " Here it is. " Tsukishima said as he saw the shop. However, I couldn't see a thing because there were so many people in front. I tried to tip toe so I could see clearly. " Oh. Are you too short ? Sorry I forgot about that. " He laughed at me while covering his mouth. I pouted and just walked to the end of the line, he followed. Then a staff walked towards us to inform us that the wait time is around fifteen minutes at the moment. We understood and kept staying in line. Tsukishima put on his headphone, so I put mine on as well.

After twenty minutes, it was finally our turn to enter the cafe. We took off our headphones at the same time when the waitress was leading us to our table. " Sorry for the wait. This is our special menu for this week. Everything will be 10% Off because we just opened. " She said. " And this is a couple's menu. " She took another menu out and put it on our table. " Please ring the bell when you are ready to order. " She bowed and left. Tsukishima and I looked at each other embarrassingly, and we decided to put the couple menu aside. After a few minutes of discussion, I decided to order a strawberry and banana chocolate crepe. He decided to order a strawberry cheesecake. A few more minutes had passed, and our food had arrived.

We both picked up the fork and smiled. " I will enjoy having this. " We said at the same time. His face lit up after eating his first bite. " This is... So good. " He exclaimed. " The strawberry they use is so fresh and sweet. " I quickly tried my crepe after he said it. " It really is so good~ " I said merrily while holding my face with my palms. We then started chatting about school, and hobbies, and so many other stuffs while eating. " Older brothers can be super annoying sometimes. But sometimes their existence is just so great. " I complained. " I know right. I always feel that way towards my older brother too. " Tsukishima said with an annoyed tone. We laughed happily. " I'm so glad that I met you at the station today. " I said  after I finished my crepe. " If not today wouldn't be so interesting. " He put down his fork and wiped his mouth with a paper handkerchief. " Agree. " He smiled.

We walked to the cashier and paid for our dessert. " Would you two like to play separately ? " The staff asked. " Ye- " " I will pay. " Tsukishima said before I could finish my sentence. " Eh ? But- " " No. " He cut of my sentence again and paid for me too. " Thank you for coming. " The staffed thanked us and we walked out of the cafe. " You didn't have to do that. " I said feeling bad. " It's okay. Just a treat for you, I haven't feel this interested in something for a while. " He said and smiled. " Okay... " I answered. We then remained silent for the walk to the station.

After we arrived the station, it was packed with people. Since it was time for people to go home from work, we could barely squeeze in the train door. When the train started moving, I was leaning at the door and Tsukishima in front of me. " Why did you choose to go with me today ? " I asked him. " You could go alone, right ? " He did not answer and looked down. " Embarrassed ? " I laughed a bit at his reaction. Then the train made a sudden turn, which made Tsukishima held on the train door. Our position was like he was pinning me against the wall. I looked at him, our height difference really made me feel shy, and my face became red. " Who is the embarrassed one now ? " He said and smirked. " What is this... " I muttered and looked away avoiding eye contact. After a few minutes, we arrived at our station, we got off and walked to the gates. " Thanks for today, Shirosaki. " He said when he exited the gates. " Thank you to you too... " I said as I exited the gates too. " Still feeling shy ? " He asked. " I... I... I'll see you at school soon. " I then turned around and started walking slowly. " Okay. See you tomorrow. " I heard him saying from behind. After a few seconds, I wanted to look at him, so I turned my head. I saw him turning his head back to look at me too. We both made eye contact, then we quickly turned back again. ' Ahh... Today was so happy... ' I thought in my head, and continued walking home.
