Karasuno | Yamaguchi

You are Shirosaki Kaori. You are a first year in Karasuno High, in the same class as Yamaguchi Tadashi. You two became friends one day when there wasn't any seat in the canteen and he invited you to sit at his table. After a few months, you two became closer since you two always eat together.

Shirosaki Kaori's POV

This morning when I arrived school, I was so tired that I nearly fell on the stairs while walking up the classroom. ' Glad that no one saw that... ' I thought. I stepped in the classroom and walked to my seat, sat down and layed on the desk. ' I'll sleep a while before class starts... ' I thought as I fell asleep. A while later, I heard a voice calling me. " Shirosaki ? Shirosaki. " I opened my eyes a bit, my eyesight was still a bit blurry, but I saw a dark green colored hair person standing in front of me. " Yamaguchi... ? " I said while rubbing my eyes, then my eyesight became clear. " It is time to wake up, the bell rang already. " He said and smiled softly. " Okay... " I replied and sat back straight. Not long later, the teacher arrived, and class started.

A few hours had passed, and lunch time had arrived. I walked to the canteen and ordered my lunch, found an empty table and sat down. While I was eating my noodles, I saw Yamaguchi looking for a table, since nearly all tables were filled with people. " Yamaguchi ? " I called his name. " You can sit here if you want to. " I smiled and said. " Ah, Shirosaki. Thank you. " He said as he sat down. We both started to eat our lunch. " You looked so tired this morning. Are you okay ? " He asked worriedly. " I couldn't fall asleep last night, so I'm sleepy today. " I answered embarrassedly. " Have some more rest after lunch, since the last few lessons are physical education, it might be tiring. " He said. " Maybe I will sleep again at lunch break. " I slurped some noodles in my mouth. " If not maybe I will be so tired that I can't walk home after school. " I laughed a bit at my own sentence.

Not long later, we finished our food. We returned the tray and walked back to the classroom. I sat back down at my table and layed down, closed my eyes and started to take some rest. A few minutes later, I felt someone standing beside me. So I opened my eyes slightly for me to peek who was there. It was Yamaguchi, and he was covering my body with his jacket. " Sleep tight. " He whispered and left the classroom. I then smiled and fell asleep. When the bell rang, I woke up. I sat straight and stretched my arms. ' Yamaguchi's jacket... ' I smiled and thought. I then put the jacket on his desk, then I took my sports uniform and went to the changing room to get ready for the lesson.

Class had ended for the day, everyone went back to the classroom to take their bags. When I walked in, I saw Yamaguchi wearing his jacket. He saw me and greeted me. " Hi Shirosaki. How was class ? " He asked. " It was tiring, but I managed to suffer through it. " I laughed, then I put my hands behind me. " Thanks for the jacket just now. " I said as I looked down. " No problem. " He smiled and said. Then another voice called him. " Hey Yamaguchi ! Hey Tsukishima ! Let's go. " It was a schoolmate from another class. " Okay. " He replied and turned back to me. " We have a practise match with another school today at the volleyball gym. If can come if you want to watch. " He said. My eyes brighten up a bit. " Really ? Okay I will be there after I pack my things. " I said happily. " See you later~ " He waved and walked out the classroom with Tsukishima. I then quickly packed my bag and walked to the volleyball gym.

" Nice Serve ! " I heard someone yell as I arrive the gym. Yamaguchi saw me and smiled, I smiled back as a response. Not long later, he was switched with another player of the team to play. He served three times, and got three points for the team, which was very amazing. Then the match continued, until the team won. Everyone was exhausted and happy at the same time, they had a quick meeting and started the second match. Our school's team won again, and so the practise match was over. After the team packed their stuffs and tidied the gym, Yamaguchi said good bye to his teammates and walked towards me. " Did you enjoy it ? " He asked. " Yes~ Very much. " I answered joyfully and walked out the gym with him. " I'll go change my clothes, would you like to wait for me here ? " He asked. I nodded as a response and he jogged to the changing room. In that few minutes, Tsukishima walked out of the gym. He looked at me and called my name. " Shirosaki. " He said. " Yes ? " I answered in a pretty shocked tone. " You... " He paused for a few seconds. " Nevermind. Have a nice evening. " He then walked away from me. ' What... ? ' I asked myself in my mind, but shook it off afterwards.

" Did I make you wait ? " Yamaguchi walked towards me and said after he changed into his school uniform. " Not at all. " We then started heading towards the school gate and left school. " Please have some good rest after you arrived home tonight. " He said in a worried tone. " Don't worry I will. " I smiled and answered. I looked up at the sky, and saw a full moon sitting there. " Hey Yamaguchi... Look, the moon is so pretty today. " I said. " Eh !? " He turned to me blushing. " Wait I... Eh !? " I was surprised by myself too. " I am sorry, I didn't mean... " " No it's okay I understand... " We then stayed silent for a while, until we arrived downhill and had to separate. " I... Will see you tomorrow. " He said while rubbing his neck. " Okay... See you then. " I waved at him and said. " Ah... About just now. " He paused and took a deep breathe. " Yes... I think that the moon is beautiful as well. " He looked down on the ground and said. " I... I... What is this suppose to mean ? " I blushed and asked. " Have a guess. " He chuckled. " Bye~ " He waved and turned to another street, leaving me blushing alone. ' Aww... ' I thought and smiled happily, then I turned around and started walking home too.
