You are Shirosaki Kaori, you are studying in Aobajohsai High. You met Oikawa Tooru when you both were in the same class during your second year. You two became close because you both play the same PSP game. You slowly develop a crush on him, and now you both are in the same class in third year too.

Shirosaki Kaori's POV

The cicadas were singing loud on the trees since it was a hot summer day. I looked out of the classroom window from my desk while thinking about how I should face Oikawa since I felt like I started to like him more than a friend.

" Good morning~ Shiro. " I heard Oikawa's voice calling me from the classroom door. " Ah- Oikawa, good morning. " I greeted him. " How was practice ? " " Just like always, nothing really special. " He answered as he sat on his chair in front of me. " A new DLC is releasing later this week. " He said as he took out the books for the first period. " Yes~ I can't wait to play it~ I've seem the trailer and it is about sea and ocean. " I said happily. " Yeah, and it is the right time to release that now since it's summer. " He said and we paused for a while, looking out the window together.

" Do you want to go to the beach ? " He asked suddenly. " Eh- When ? " " Today ? After school. " I tilted my head a little bit. " How about your practice ? " I asked. " We don't have practice today, so it's fine. " He said while holding up a peace sign. I smiled and felt happy. " Sure. " I answered and brushed my hair behind my ear. Feeling excited since he invited me out. Then the bell rang, and our teacher walked in the classroom, class started not long later.

After school had ended for the day, Oikawa turned to me and smiled. " Yahoo~ Are you ready to go ? " I nodded as a response. " Then let's go. " He stood up and started walking to the door, I smiled and followed. We chatted on our way to the train station about our experiences of going to the beach and sea, and we became more and more excited every minute. After we got in the train, we found a place to sit, and we both closed our eyes and rested for the ride. " Next station, Arai, Arai. The door on the left side will open. " The announcement played and we stood up and walked to the doors. " We have to catch the bus in three minutes. " I said when I looked at the bus schedule on my phone. " It's going to be okay, I can run fast. " He stretched his arms and was getting ready to run. " But I can't... I am bad at sports- " I haven't finished my sentence yet, and I felt something holding my arm.

" O... Oikawa... ? " I said after I saw him holding me. " Don't worry. I'll help you. " He winked at me, my face bacame as red as an apple. The train stopped still after a few seconds. " Here we go~ " He said. The door opened, and we both dashed out of the train.

We both tapped our IC card quickly when we were at the gates, then we ran towards the bus station. He turned around and looked at me. " You still okay ? " I closed my eyes and nodded, not speaking to lose breathe. Not long later, we arrived at the bus station and got on the bus just right before the door closed.

I panted when we started walking to the empty seats, trying to catch my breathe. Oikawa followed behind me but he wasn't even tired for a bit. " People who do sports are just scary... " I said with a soft voice, and he just stuck his tongue out and held up a peace sign. We sat down and took a rest. Ten minutes later, the beach was in sight visable through the bus window. My eyes started to sparkle as it was my first time going to a beach this year.

The bus stopped still at the station, Oikawa and I both walked to the door, paid and thanked the driver then got off. " Let's go~ " He said with his playful tone then we sprinted towards the beach.

We put down our bags somewhere and took off our shoes and socks. " Your feet. " He said out of a sudden. " What ? " I asked with question marks on my head. " They are so small. They look cute. " My face started to heat up so I just walked towards the water. Oikawa laughed a bit and followed.

" Hey Oikawa. " I called him when we walked into the water. " Huh ? " He turned his head to me. A millisecond later, I started spashing water on him. " Wha- Hey that's not fair ! " He whined and started spashing water on me too. " No~ You're too strong ! " I laughed and started to run away.

" Be careful~ Don't run in the water~ " He warned me. " I know~ Wait. Waa- " The next second, I tripped. I closed my eyes and held my breathe while falling. SPLASH. I ended up soaking wet. " Ah~ Hahahahaha. " I heard Oikawa laughing behind me after I fell. " Are you alright ? " He asked while I sit back up. " Of... Of course I am okay !! " I said as I tuck some of my hair behind my ear. " Here, get up. " He said as he held his hand out, I grabbed it and stood back up. The next second, what he did shocked me. SPLASH. He also jumped in the water. " O... Oikawa !? " I said with my eyes wide open. " Now we are both wet, we are the same now. " He stood up and smiled. We both laugh and continued playing in the water.

After a while the sun started to set, we walked to the stairs and sat there. " It was so fun ! " I exclaimed. " Yeah, it really was. " He replied as we both looked at the sky turning darker and darker. " It is sad that we are facing the east side. If not we can see the sun setting. " He said while looking at me. " But it is still beautiful, right ? " I said. " You're right. " We both sat there, until the sky became completely dark. We stood up and decided to go home.

During the bus ride, I was feeling sleepy, so I rested my head on the window and had a small sleep. " Hey~ Shiro~ Wakey wakey~ " I heard Oikawa calling me to wake up, then I slowly opened my eyes and rubbed them. " The next station is the JR Station. " He said as I tried to focus with my eyes. " Okay... " I said and sat up straight.

During the train ride, we both made jokes about what happened just now at the beach. " The kid kept looking at you because your hair looked like a lion ! " I tried to control my laughter. " Well you look like a ghost from a TV Show !! " He said and we both bursted out laughter, we couldn't hold it in anymore. Then I talked in a lower voice. " Don't be noisy in the train. " " But... But you made me laugh !? " Then we once laughed again loudly, and we ignored the stare from an old lady sitting near us. We both got off when the train arrived our station.

" Thank you so much. " I said to Oikawa. " I really enjoyed it. " " Me too, thanks a lot Shiro. " We then tapped our IC Card and walked out of the gate. " I guess I will see you tomorrow ? " He said while stratching his neck with his hand. " See you tomorrow. " I smiled and waved at him. When I was turning around, Oikawa called me again. " Hey... Shiro ? " He said with an unsure tone. " Yes ? " I turned to face him again. " Let's go watch the sunrise at the beach sometimes. " My face heated up by the invitation. " Su... Sure ! Let's go to the beach again next time. " I looked down and smiled. " See you tomorrow~ " He said and waved. " See you. " I said too and we both walked home on our way.

' Aw... That was so sweet... ' I thought as I walked faster, or else my mother would get angry if I was late for dinner.
