The following day at work April was taking stock when Tessa arrived and gave her a Thank-You card.
April was shocked to think anyone would travel back into the city to say thanks. April really was at a loss.
After talking for a few minutes and after April kept saying no she eventually gave in and said yes to Tessa's invite to her nephews ball game the following week.

Tessa had offered to pick up April at her home but April said it would be better to get picked up outside the Museum.
The ball game was slow and boring to April but she was glad to be invited even though Tessa was still a stranger she was very polite.
Half way through the game there was a break so the kids could rest an hour and let the parents hit fun hits for a cash prize of $2000.
"I bet I can strike you out" said Tessa to April.
"Yeah you probably would im not good at sports" laughed April.
Tessa brought out a cute $20 and claimed she could strike her out.
"Well since you have cash on the table it's on, plus im going to win that $2000" boasted April "that ball is going into space".
Tessa stood up to the challenge, it was on. They stood in line.
Next it was their turn.
The announcer called out Tessa and April's name over a mic.
April stood up to bat and before she knew it Tessa struck her out, Tessa had a good strength in her pitch, the crowd cheered. Tessa posed with her two arms up.
April looked at Tessa with her mouth open and eyes wide.
"You ready for strike 2"? yelled Tessa.
"Not guna happen" yelled april back.
"Strike 2" yelled the announcer over the mic, the crowd yelled again.
"If April hits this and sends it further than anyone else, she will win the grand prize of $2000" said the announcer.
The crowd went silent.
Tessa pitched as hard as she could, April stepped forward and swung with full force, there was a bang and the ball went straight up into the air at an angle, the crowd stood up and cheered, the ball was still going and eventually went out of sight through the trees at the end of the playfield. Tessa's mouth dropped.
"That ball is outta here folks" said the anouncer over the cheering of the crowd.
April jumped up and down cheering for herself and Tessa gave her a high five.
"Wow, you really went all in April" said Tessa.
"Beginners luck I think" replied April.
At the end of the ball game an argument had broken out between some of the parents.
Tessa April and Tommy quickly left and April gave Tommy her winning cash prize and as much as Tessa refused it April kept insisting.

At the traffic lights it was red, Tessa slowed then was hit from behind by a truck which sent Tessa's car into the back of the car infront of them, ghe back of Tessa's car lifted up then went forward landing on its roof, the truck kept going smashing through the traffic, glass smashed, the car dented, water leaked, fuel started to leak into the passenger area.
Smoke was everywhere, a spark went off and fuel turned into flame, there was an eruption of condensed heat, the engine exploded, April was kicking the door out then clambered out of the car her clothes on fire, a few people ran over and started swinging their jackets at her to put out the fire.
