No one was in a real chatty mood, and they worked in silence. The dragons who had already eaten their fill of fish stretched and curled and rolled into comfortable positions for the night.

"Hm-hmmm-hm-hmmm-hmm-hmmmm-hm-hmmm, hm-hmmm-hm-hmmm-hm-hmmmm..." Heather hummed. Her musical talent shined through as even the simple tune was harmonious and relaxing enough to make the dragon's eyelids droop.

Most of them anyway.

"Hm-hmmm-hm-hmmm-hm-hmmm-hmm-hmmm-hmm-hm-hmmm-hmmm-hm-hmmmmm."

Hiccup, who was himself listing off started at the sound of the medical wagon groaning on it's axels. There was a thud and the creaking stopped.

"Hm-hmmmmm-hm-hmmmm-hmmm-hmm, hmmm. Hmm-hmmmm-hm-hmmmm-hmmmmm hmmmm."

Studying the darkness he spotted what he was looking for. Two glinting eyes. They were wide and clueless as ever, but... there was something else in them too. Curiosity, perhaps? Moving closer, they made their way toward Heather whose back was turned to them.

"Hmm, hmmmm-hm-hmmm-hmmmm-hm-hmm-hmmm, hmmmm-hmmm-hmmmm-hmmm-hm-hmmm, hmmmmmm.... Whoa,"

Heather ducked down as the cat-like dragon's nose appeared over her head.

"Ebony,"

The Fury stared at the girl, motionless for a good twenty seconds.

"And pschyco fury returns," Camicazi muttered casually where she was scraping scales off the now very dead sturgeon.

"Hiccup...what is she doing?" The Berserker Princess edged away, slowly.

"Stalking you?" Camicazi said.

"Heather," it dawned upon Hiccup, "I think she likes your singing."

"My singing?"

"Yes." Clearing his throat, Hiccup looked around and held up a warning hand "Ok I know I sound terrible but let me just try this."

He began:

"I'll swim and sail on savage seas,

With ne'er a fear of drowning..."

Fury ears twitched in his direction.

"And gladly ride the waves of life
If you would marry me..."

Yellow eyes turned, slowly. Paws, next to invisible in the dark padded quietly away from Heather and behind Hiccup.

"Hey I think you're on to something, Hiccup," Dagur watched, surprised. He elbowed his sister. "See I knew she didn't want to eat you."

"No scorching sun nor freezing cold

Will stop me (on my journey, sorry!)

If you will promise me your heart

And love

And love me for eternity..."

Ebony's eyes dilated. She began to trill- but not like a normal trill; it wavered and changed with his pitch.

"...And somebody better than me pick up!"

Hiccup made a sweeping gesture toward the group.

Dagur took the stage. Soon as Hiccup stopped and he began the goofy fury migrated toward him and his shocking rich, deep singing voice.

"My dearest one, my darling dear

Your mighty words astound me

But I've no need for mighty deeds
