Cluelessly trapped in my deteriorating head,
there's no way out, strapped down in this bed.
Inside of me, darkness spreads systemically,
longing more and more each day to die sadistically........................ ............................ ...................
What was the number of man he killed? Hundreds? Thousands? Hundreds of thousands? He doesn't remember anymore. He doesn't need to remember. Never before. Everything was an order in his world. You pour money he will kill. It was simple. Just like this mission was supposed to be.
Though he did had to sway from his path a little. At first it was supposed to be on the bus from the camping sight, then it was supposed to be anywhere that person was left alone, then it was on the jungle that seems to be as merciless as him and his team.
As it was supposed to be. A simple mission. Code blue. Kill, get rid of the body then disappear. After all how hard can it be to kill a 18 year old? How hard?
The answer was standing before him. Drenched in blood, hand holding the dagger that just cut one of his mates neck awhile ago, eyes looking at him, threatening him, daring him to even take a step more.
Riley, that was his name, was scared. For the first time ever, he was scared. He thought he was merciless. But this man, this unmovable, fierce, cold, unforgiving creature seems more merciless than anything he has ever encountered in his life.
Although that man warned, he should've listened..His memory falling back to the beginning where it all started. From a man as tall as him, holding the knife, that was supposed to be on the neck of that child a long time ago.
"All I am asking is that you step away and go. That's all. I will forget everything." That man had said. The kid seems to finally get life back as his eyes met with the back of the person he has been desperate to see. His hand hurriedly letting go of the tree to hold onto the lifeline standing before him. He stumbled then fell directly into those protective arms, seeking solace as soon as they made contact.
Kim Taeyung looked back at the trembling from the corner of his eyes, searching for any damage, getting relief when he couldn't found any. His one hand was still on the blade that was only one moment away from that kid's face awhile ago. Taehyung don't even want to think what would've happened if he was one second late. The thought and the crying kid hiding in his arms made him grasped the blade more tightly, blood dripping from the edge as it cut through his palm. Though the pain was there yet the worry and urgency to usher that kid back to safety surpass it all.
"Are you ok?" He asked while maintaining eye contact with the cold eyed masked man. Only sniffles were heard in answer as that kid buried himself in his chest trying to reach deeper where fear can't reach him. All of his being wanted to engulf that small form but the situation was not in their favor.
"If you hand that kid over to me, I will forget everything too."
Taehyung looked straight at the man, those blue eyes staring right back at him, malice written all over that body posture. "So you want this kid?"
"I was clear in my demand."
"And you will leave if I hand him over to you?"
"Exactly."
Two hands grabbed Taehyung's shirt in a grip, no, not in fear. It was a try to not let the man depart from himself.
"What If I don't?"
The masked man's eyes hardened but the movement behind those two made him satisfied. Though if he knew what was about to happen, instead of feeling satisfied, he will try to warn all of them to stay away while running away himself. "Then.." He smirked that was behind that mask. "Then you will die...just like.."
