Kichu opened his eyes. His head was spinning as he slowly sat up and looked around. The room was massive—larger than any place he had ever been. He stood up and walked toward the door, but before he could touch it, it slid open automatically.
His eyes widened in awe.
The hall before him was enormous—easily the size of two football fields. People were everywhere, working tirelessly, their movements precise and efficient. Some even floated in midair, effortlessly gliding from one place to another.
"Hey, kiddo… You’re finally awake."
A woman’s voice pulled him from his trance. He turned to see a stunning lady standing before him, her presence confident yet warm. "Come, he’s waiting for you."
Kichu followed her through the vast hall, his mind racing with questions. Soon, they entered another chamber, grand and imposing. At the far end sat a towering man on an oversized chair, exuding an undeniable aura of power.
The woman gave Kichu a small nod, signaling him to approach.
"Welcome, kid," the man said, his deep voice resonating through the room. "Are you satisfied with our hospitality?"
Kichu hesitated for a moment before nodding. "Yes… Thank you for taking care of me, sir. And honestly, it’s nice to see another human after so long."
The man smirked. "Let’s skip the small talk. Who are you? I can see you’re human, but how did you end up here?"
Kichu's expression darkened. "I don’t have time to tell my whole story. I need to get to the Kerhi 21 planet as soon as possible."
The man raised an eyebrow. "And why is that? Someone waiting for you?"
"No," Kichu muttered. His fists clenched. "I need to send a message. It’s the closest planet from here."
The man studied Kichu carefully. "You look like hell. What happened to you, kid?"
Kichu's mind flashed back to everything—his friends, the experiments, the suffering. He gritted his teeth. "I don’t want to waste words. I’m going to kill a certain man. That’s all you need to know."
The man chuckled. "Oh? And who’s the lucky bastard?"
Kichu’s eyes burned with fury. "Immortal. The biggest piece of shit in the universe. And on my way to killing him, I might just wipe out the rest of the Six Devils too."
The room fell silent.
Then, the man erupted into laughter.
"Haha! Kill the devils, you say?" He leaned back, still laughing as if Kichu had just told the funniest joke in the galaxy. "Man, you’re hilarious!"
Even the woman beside him chuckled.
Kichu’s face twisted in frustration. "What’s so funny? Did I say something stupid?"
The woman smirked. "Oh, kiddo… Do you even know who you’re talking to? The man in front of you is none other than Fliphead—one of the Six Devils."
Kichu’s heart nearly stopped. His body went stiff.
His instincts screamed at him to move. His fists clenched as he immediately jumped into a fighting stance.
"Whoa, whoa, easy there, kid." Fliphead waved a hand lazily. "We’re not fighting you." He wiped a tear from his eye. "Man, I wish my brother was here to hear that. If he was, your head would already be rolling on the ground."
Kichu swallowed hard. His hands trembled slightly. He hadn’t even realized it, but his body was drenched in sweat.
"Listen," he forced out, trying to steady his voice. "I don’t have time to waste here. Just get me to the planet."
Fliphead smirked. "You know, kid… I like you." He turned to the woman. "Hey, Stella, give him the Mark-63."
She blinked in surprise. "Are you sure, F?"
"Yeah. Let him kill that bastard."
Stella nodded, then looked at Kichu. "Come with me, kiddo."
As soon as they left the room, Kichu let out a shaky breath and collapsed to his knees.
"He… He’s the real thing."
His whole body trembled. His breathing was erratic.
"So this is what it feels like to stand before a Devil…"
His fingers dug into the floor. "*I was nothing but a worm in front of him.**"
His hands clenched.
"How the hell am I supposed to save my friends… with only this much power?"
"I'm weak... I'm weak... I'm weak..." He panted, his mind spiraling.
"Hey, kiddo, are you alright?" Stella’s voice pulled him back.
He was still kneeling, gasping for air.
"I need to get stronger... I need to get stronger..." He muttered over and over.
She placed a hand on his shoulder.
"I need to—Ah—BOOBS!"
His head shot up—his face now inches from Stella’s chest.
She sighed. "Ahh… You are just a kid after all." She flicked his forehead. "Stop staring and come with me."
Kichu quickly got up, rubbing his forehead, and followed her down the hallway. Soon, they arrived at a large chamber. She pressed a button, and a massive iron door slid open.
Inside was a sleek, powerful spaceship.
"This is the Mark-63. You’re really lucky, kiddo. This beauty has multi-fire weapons, sonic speed, teleportation, and even energy beams with adjustable levels. Oh, and don’t worry about food—it’s got a long-term supply built in." She whistled. "Honestly, you hit the jackpot."
Kichu stepped inside, eyes wide with excitement.
"You know how to pilot it, right?"
"Yeah… I’ll manage."
"Then move your ass already," she teased.
As he prepared for launch, he hesitated. "Before I go… who is that man’s brother?"
She looked at him in disbelief. "Are you serious? They’re the Head Brothers. Fliphead and Sixhead. Even a kid could guess from the names."
Kichu’s eyes widened. "Wait… They’re brothers?! That’s so unfair! Two devils working together?"
Stella laughed. "They’re not one devil, Kichu. They’re completely different. Fliphead is the Kind-hearted Devil, and Sixhead is the Cruel-hearted Devil. They need each other to maintain balance. Because you can’t solve everything with kindness… and you can’t rule with cruelty alone. Together, they’re unstoppable."
Kichu said nothing. He simply started the ship and gave her a small nod before taking off into the darkness of space.
Stella watched the ship disappear.
Then her expression changed.
"Oh… fuck."
She facepalmed.
"I forgot to mention the self-destruct function."
