The next day.
Vanoss and his friends are now sleeping after what they did yesterday. When the field team leader reported to the commander, he gave vanoss and his friends zenny. It's mainly the currency of this world as their dollars will be worthless in this world. After they got rewarded they ate good and when nighttime happened they all rested and went to sleep. Now it's morning and we see the handler waking in.
Handler: hey guys wake up
All: *groan of tired*
Handler: I said wake up it's time for your assignment. It's going to be exiting
Vanoss: *groan* five minutes
Handler: *sighing* ok, I don't want to do this
The handler goes to a chest and takes out an item called a screamer pod. She than throws it and it creates a loud high pitched noise with woke all the guys up.
All: AHHHH!!!
basically: ok! Ok! Ok! Well wake up!
Vanoss: geeze what was that!
Handler: a screamer pod. Now get up because you guys have an assignment *leaves*
Vanoss: uh, may not like the idea waking up in the morning
Delirious: you don't say
Wildcat: god fuck *mess with his ears* I think I'm deaf after that
Nogla: uh let's just get this over with
Terrorizer: ya
Vanoss and his friends starts to slowly wake up as they needed to see what assignment they are doing. They get geared up and make their way outside of the room. They see that everyone even the palico's are all awake and doing their usual business. They go to where the commander is and se what is it he wants.
Commander: ah, you all are awake. Did you all sleep good?
Wildcat: by sleep good you mean woken by a loud noises in are ears!
Handler: sorry, but y'all didn't want to wake up
Vanoss: just warn us next time
Commander: anyways now that you all are awake I have something for y'all
Basically: what is it?
Commander: since you guys were training yesterday and all. It's time that you six face your first monster
All: what!
Terrorizer: like a monster that is big right?
Commander: yes
Delirious: are you sure we are ready for this?
Commander: we spotted a perfect monster for you six to handle. Also we want you to six to takes these
The commander points at the table and shows them a couple of note books.
Nogla: ummm note books?
Commander: there hunters notes. You can use them to keep records of things out there in the wild and know the monsters better. Once you discovered something or done an investigation, goes to a scholar to update your notes
