Evermore: Gojo x reader

Toji Fushiguro

Shoko was the one to call you about Riko Amanai's death. You were surprised to have her calling in the middle of day, you don't even know how she got your number but it didn't matter. Once you heard the news that Gojo and Geto were hurt, you grabbed your glider and flew as fast as you could back to Jujutsu Tech.

You talked to Geto once Shoko was done checking up on him but he didn't say much, his eyes would wonder around the room, it was like he was in his own world. You didn't talk to him as much as you wanted to though, you read the room and sent him off maybe a good amount of rest would make him feel better.

Gojo was the only one you haven't talked to yet. You heard about what happened to him though. Some sorcerer killer stabbed him, he almost died. Fortunately, Gojo killed him.

The door opened revealing a tired looking Gojo. You quickly stood up to greet him but he walked past you. Something was off about him...of course something was wrong! He's probably tired but you still needed to check up on him.

You cleared your throat and quickly walked behind him, "how are you feeling? Are you okay?" you asked but you didn't get a response back. Gojo kept walking to god knows where still ignoring you. "Hey I'm talking to you!"

Gojo stopped in his tracks causing you to bump into him, well into an invisible force around him it must be his technique. A couple seconds go by til the white haired boy turned around and glared down on you, "does it look like I'm okay?! Jesus can't you shut up!" He barked causing you to frown and back away from the boy, "a pathetic man killed Riko in front of Suguru and I almost died and yet here you are asking me stupid questions!" He said his blue eyes still piercing down on you

"Tch I'm just looking-"

He cut you off, "I don't need you looking out for me I'm the strongest!" He said as he puffed out his chest, "and I don't need you. Fly away or whatever" he gave you one last glance before walking away to you assume his dorm.

You sighed as you looked up to the sky. It saddened you to how a terrible thing ruined such a beautiful day.

Your grandfather forced you to talk to Gojo again which you complained and told him how he didn't want to see you, your grandfather didn't care.

So here you are in front of Gojo's dorm room contemplating wether you should knock or leave him be. Shoko has texted you that Yaga has let them have some days off after all that has happened. Both of the boys locked in their rooms. Shoko has talked to Geto but Gojo has made no effort to leave his dorm.

You sighed before softly knocking on the door. A couple seconds go by and you hear some shuffling but no footsteps so you knock again, "I know you're in there Gojo, open up I want to see how you're doing." No response. "I'll wait here as long as it takes for you to open the door!" You heard shuffling again and then the door opened to reveal him.

"I am fine." Gojo looked at you, his face still devoid of emotions.

"Nothing is fine. Your mission with Riko went downhill and Toji-"

He cut you off, "I know. As I said before, this does not concern you." He replied in a cold tone.
His face remained composed, but you could sense a silver of rage in his expression.

"Gojo, tell me what happened with Toji" you could see he hated talking about that man, there was definitely something he knew about him.

Gojo looked into your eyes. He remained silent for a few moments, as if he was contemplating your question. Finally, he spoke.
"Toji. That man was strong. Stronger than anyone I have ever faced. Even though I defeated him, it had little to do with skill and more with luck." Gojo's eyes narrowed slightly, and a hint of frustration flashed through.

You frowned, "it's okay to be angry you know whenever I'm mad my grandpa-"

He cut you off again, "I am aware" he replied quickly, "but I don't get angry"

You frowned, "you don't have to hide your emotions from me. I mean, we'll be getting married soon so it's okay to open up."

Gojo's face stiffens. His expression darkens as he looks away. "I said I'm fine" he flares at you, clearly getting irritated by your persistence, "you need to go back to your estate, my dad called and said that we're meeting up tomorrow so I'll see you then." He began to close his door

"But-"

"Go home." He said flatly as he slammed the door on your face. You stood there for a minute or two.
