Hey everyone, I'm back! Before we dive into the story, I just want to clear up a few things.

Firstly, a huge thank you to everyone who answered my questions in the previous chapters. Your ideas and feedback have really helped shape this current chapter. Also, thanks to everyone who's been reading, following, and favoriting this fic, as well as for the positive comments, likes, adding my fics to your reading lists, and all the kudos. Every time I check my notifications, it boosts my determination to finish my stories. Your support means the world to me, so thank you all so much!

Secondly, I'd like to talk about my other fics on my profile. Last year, I wrote a Descendants fic featuring Harry Hook and an OC. It didn't gain much traction, but I'm proud of it, and I'm glad some of you enjoyed it too. Another recent fic of mine is a Twilight story called "Twilight Reborn: Chronicles of the Silent Observer." It's also an SI-OC fic, but instead of reincarnation, the OC is displaced to another reality similar to her own, albeit in the Twilight universe. I'm excited to share that fic with you all! I have plenty of other ideas too, but I want to finish my current projects before diving into them – unless I hit a mental block and need to refresh my ideas, then I might start another fic. LOL!

Finally, I've resolved my long-standing problem. If you've been following my updates, you might already know, but here's the full scoop: After being swamped with real-life stuff, I finally have some free time again, and I've been itching to dive back into reading and writing on Wattpad, fanfics, and manhwas. The only issue? My laptop's been busted since January – LCD, motherboard, everything. I tried getting it fixed, but no luck. All I had left was the hard drive.

Sure, I tried writing on my phone, but it was a nightmare – slow, full of typos, and just plain frustrating. Borrowing my mom's laptop was my backup plan, but she's a professor, and with all her online classes, her laptop is always busy with grading, presentations, and lessons. Recently, I got a new laptop, but my little brother's been using it non-stop for his games. I let him, because, well, he's my only sibling and hasn't gotten his own computer yet.

But here's the good news: I finally got my laptop back! My brother's got his own now, complete with a streamer setup. I guess he'll start streaming or something. But back to the main point—I'm back to updating my fics.

Anyway, enough about that—let's dive into the new update! Can't wait to hear what you think. Enjoy!

Previously in Vampire Diaries...joking....

"Jeremy," I called out, catching his curious gaze. He's probably wondering what bomb I'm about to drop next. Well, it's definitely going to be shocking. "I burned the bridge for a reason, one that I hope never comes to pass like in the vision I saw."

"What's going to happen, Bonnie?" Caroline asked, her concern evident, her eyes wide and brows furrowed.

Our part of the backyard suddenly fell silent, like someone pressed a mute button on the world. Even the vampires, usually unfazed, seemed to grasp the gravity of the situation. All eyes turned to me, their expressions running the gamut from shock to apprehension.
