|-AUTHOR'S NOTE-|
Fuuuck guys I'm sorry I didn't even start working on this chapter until today ;-; It is criminally short but I promise I am going to work on this story until absolute completion, followed by Mi Problemático.

Also, from here on out the story will follow the formatting as shown on my current stories on my other account (bobbihasnouser).

Anyway, enjoy!

"It hasn't changed," I stated.

"Uh, yeah. Didn't know what to do with it."

My bedroom looked the exact same, since the day I left it. One little bed, teddy bears everywhere, kid's drawings on the walls.

"I... don't think we'll fit in that bed."

"Oh, yeah. Uh. There's always my old room. I turned it into a guest room. I-I just thought... I dunno. Kinda thought you'd still be a little girl."

"Well, I'm not," I said firmly, folding my arms. "It's been 11 years, for fuck's sake. I have a boyfriend and a family and, yeah, I fucking swear, so don't think I haven't see that little face you do. You know, I can't fully forgive you."

"For goodness sake, you think I can forgive myself?!" He burst out suddenly. "I was a spoiled, scared kid and I lost everyone I ever cared about in one day! I made you run away, I... I killed my own fucking parents!"

My eyes widened. "I'm... sorry, Emil."

He closed his eyes. "No, you shouldn't be. I should be. I'm so, so sorry. I lost you and, I was spoiled and I never played with you like I should've and I was a horrid brother."

I walked forward and placed my hand on his shoulder. "It's okay now. We're..." I patted his shoulder. "We're still siblings. And yeah, we're fucked up but we can kinda... stay in contact after this, I guess? You can come meet Gloria and Val, and maybe the Madrigals - that's Camilo's family."

"Yeah, that's... that'll be nice. So, your boyfriend!" He changed the subject.

Cami was downstairs with Miguel, by the way. He wanted to give me and Emil a while to ourselves.

"Yeah. Yeah, Cami's... great. We've been together for a few months now. I really do like him alot."

"He seems nice. And I have got to find out what he uses on his hair, I mean, his hair is flawless, man."

I laughed. "That's because his mami, Pepa, never lets him skip a hair day. They spend whole days on their hair and it pays off. His entire family has fantastic hair."

"I noticed. Lucia's at work, so why don't we go downstairs and get to know him?"

"Yeah! That sounds great."

We both smiled, and I noticed he had the same smile as our mother.

We continued our conversation as we walked downstairs into kitchen where mi novio was waiting with Miguel.

"And so I- hoLY MOTHER!" He yelled, falling backwards as he was met with two Miguels.

They both turned to face him, and the one on the left returned to Camilo. He frowned, nervously, looking at me and my brother.

"I-I..." Emil looked between the three of us.

"I mentioned that he had a gift, like I did too..." I said quietly, awaiting his judgement.

"Y-Yeah, but I didn't think that he..." He cleared his throat and fixed his posture. "It's okay. I'm not... I don't have a problem I just... was not expecting to see double."

"Yeah, that's... kinda my thing," Camilo rubbed his elbow. "Wanna see some more?"

He shifted into Emil.

"Woah..."

Then he turned into me.

"Oooh, look at me!" He mocked in a high pitched voice, twirling my hair on his finger. "I'm edgy and cool and I say 'fuck' alot!"

"Shut up!" I threw a nearby apple at him. "I do not, you cheeky little fuck!"

The boys snickered at me.

"Excuse you all, I could burn this house down right now!" I threatened, pointing a fire tipped finger at them.

Camilo shifted into himself and fell to his knees overdramatically. "No, please no! I beg you, mi amor! Don't hurt me!"

I laughed at his theatrics. "Okay, okay, fine! Get up!" I grabbed the back of his ruana and tugged him back to his feet.

"Well, congratulations, Camilo Madrigal, it seemed you helped provide my sister with a sense of humour."

I threw another apple at him and laughed.

It was weird. I could almost feel at home here.

"So, Madrigal. You wanna tell me a little about what the village is like? Or your family?"

"Uh, yeah, sure." The four of us sat down at the table.

"So, the village is fairly ordinary itself. But my family and the house are enchanted by this candle, which is how we got the powers. My abuela-"

There was a shout from outside the house.

"Emil! You in there, mi alma?"

"Oh, there she is! Y/n, come meet my bride!"
