"Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking, we are now ready to take off. I would request you to please fasten your seat belts. We will be reaching our destination in about 3 hours. Hope you have a nice flight. Thank you for choosing delta airways."

The plane started moving as soon as the pilot gave his message.

Apparently the boys don't have very nice fans. As the plane was half empty so they were easily able to sit next to each other.

Serena took the middle seat, while Colby was on the aisle as Sam called dibs on the window seat. "Three hours and no tv, now that just sucks." Colby frowned.

The plane had already taken off now and they were about half an hour in. Sam was happily munching on his cake pop and Serena put her AirPods in listening to music while she read a her book which she carried along, her coffee had been finished a while ago.

"What are you reading?" Sam whispered noticing that Colby was now asleep. Serena paused her music. "The secret history." Sam had no clue what that book was but nodded anyway.

A few chapters later her rock playlist had shifted to slow songs and 'stubborn love' by the luminers came on.

The thing that the girl dreaded the most occurred then.

She sneezed.

Immediately she felt the flow rush and a bad cramp followed soon after. Serena winced trying not to reach too much. But she got up and grabbed her bag pack along with her.

She slowly patted Colby's arm noticing that Sam too was now asleep. "Colby, I need to go to the restroom." The boy in question slowly opened his eyes registering his surroundings before his eyes landed back on her.

"What's wrong?" He whispered. "Nothing I just need to check something real quick."

"Do you want me to come?" He asked getting what she meant. "If you don't mind." Colby got up moving from his seat. The passageway had dim light guys on the floor and on the roof of the plane. He let Serena get in front of him and lead her all the way to the back of the plane.

She got behind the curtain and got in the lavatory, Colby following behind squeezing into the small space.

Serena let her eyes get adjusted to the sudden brightness of the lights in the lavatory. "What do you need me to do?" Colby asked. "Can you like-" she stopped not knowing how to put it into words.

She sighed. "Can you just check if my um pants are stained?" She whispered. Colby just nodded to her surprise. "Yeah sure, turn around." He held her shoulders and guided her to turn around.

Colby blended a bit to check her pants. His hands lingered on her lower back as he straightened back up. "All clear." Serena sighed out of relief knowing that she wouldn't have to change clothes in the tiny stall.

"Can you take this while I just change my tampon?" She handed her bag pack to him after grabbing a tampon. "Sure."

He backed out of the tiny space as Serena closed the door behind her.

Serena did her business and washed her hands before opening the door to find Colby still waiting for her outside. "You didn't have to wait." He just shook his head. "I wanted to." The door opposite to them opened as a man stepped out. Colby pushed Serena against the door to make space for the other man to move.

They stayed there for a second just looking at each other. His hands were low on her waist rubbing circles on her exposed skin. Serena suddenly cleared her throat. "We should get back."

He then guided her back to their seat. "Do you want anything for the pain?"

"No I'm good for now. I try not to take meds too often." She reasoned. "Alright just wake up if you need anything." She nodded putting her AirPods back in resuming her playlist and leaned back against the headrest.

A hand softly shook her awake. Serena cracked an eye open and covered them with the back of her hand. The intensity of the lights being too much.

"We're here." Sam whispers softly.

Serena opened her eyes fully to see everyone getting their bags and standing up. She did the same, grabbing her bag back and following Colby to the exit.

"Let's get to the baggage claim, Celina and Kris will be meeting us there." Sam checked his phone for any texts from the two girls.

"Our check in is at 2:30 pm today. That leaves us enough time to get there." Sam read off of his phone. "The drive to the hotel is an hour and half long."

As they waited for their bags at the conveyor belt, Serena kept a lookout for Celina and Kris.

Suddenly she felt arms go around her pulling her downwards. "Serena booboo! How are you?" Celina squealed hugging the taller girl. "I'm good! It's been too long!" Serena wrapped her arms around her. She hugged Kris next.

"Wait you guys know each other?" Sam asked looking between them. "Yeah I met Celina through my best friend Maya." Serena explained.

"We met at a party." Kris explained. "And then ditched it to get pizza." Serena laughed at the memory.

"Well that good that we're all already well aquatinted." Colby grabbed the last of their bags. "We already rented a car so we're good to go." Kris showed them the keys to a Toyota Corolla.

"I call dibs on not driving." Serena raised her hands. "I'll drive." Sam grabbed the keys from Kris walking out of the airport, the rest following behind. Serena helped Colby load their bags in the trunk before getting in the backseat, Colby sitting next to Sam in the passenger seat.

"Onward Samuel!" Serena pointed to the steep streets of eureka springs.
