"Samuel! Daddy's home!" The door slammed shut behind the two as Colby entered his apartment. Sam, who was sat on Colby's couch waiting for them glared at the dark haired boy's statement before smiling at Serena.

"I take that you're coming along?" Sam smiled as Serena pulled him in for a hug. "Yep this one helped me pack my bags." She pointed to Colby.

"You little shit, you forget to pack your own bags but sure of course go help Serena pack hers." Sam smacked him.

"There's my bag dude!" Colby yelled gesturing to his bag on the couch.

"I packed that bag for you!" Sam yelled back. "Oh shit thanks bro." Colby patted his back. Sam pinched the bridge of his nose and shook his head.

"Is it just me or does Sam totally look like a male version of lily van der woodsen but with lesser money and ex husbands.?" Serena whispered to the boy next to her who gave her a look.

"Who the fuck is that?" Colby whispered back.

"You haven't watched gossip girl?"

"No."

"I'm so making you watch the next time."

Sam suddenly got up which made the other two stop whispering. "I'm right here." Sam scowled. "Serena I'm sending you the tickets, I just booked one for you. Make sure you wake the beast up by 7:30, we leave by 7:45. What else? Oh! Our flights at 9."

Serena chuckled as Sam went into his momma Sam rant about making sure to pack warm. "Who the fuck are you calling a beast?"

Sam completely ignored Colby, "Serena I wish you all the best for the challenge you'll face tomorrow morning, it takes me at least half an hour to wake him up." Serena caught a glimpse of Colby mimicking a finger slicing across his throat and pointing to Sam.

"It's a good thing that I like challenges then." Serena smiled at the blonde.

"If you say so, I'll get going now, good night guys. I'll see you in the morning at 7:45. No later than that." He pointed to Colby. Sam gave Serena a small hug and Colby a pat on his back before retiring to his own apartment next door.

"He gets agitated on the day prior to a trip." Colby explained as to why his friend was so irritated. "Yeah I kinda got that and the fact that you're the main reason he gets so irritated." She looked at Colby who gave her an offended look.

"Hey! I'm not that bad, I get my shit done. Sometimes I just have trouble waking up that's all."

"If you say so Colbs."

Serena checked her watch which said it was 11:45 pm. "I think we should get some sleep now it's almost midnight and we need to get up early tomorrow" Serena suggested. Colby sighed running a hand through his hair. "Alright then. You know where the guest room is."

Serena walked to the kitchen where she grabbed a mug and added some water to up before putting it in the microwave.

Colby poked his head in the kitchen, curious to see what the girl was up to. "What are you doing?"

"I'm heating some water, I felt a sore throat coming on." She explained. "Okay then. Do you want me to put your suitcase in the room or should I just let it be?"

"Just let it be, we leave in about seven hours anyway, I have an overnight bag with me." She pointed to the small bag pack on the couch. Colby took a seat on the bar table and just looked at her.

Serena got her mug of water and took a seat next to Colby. She gently blew on it before taking a small sip to see if it was suitable for drinking.

"What's the plan for tomorrow?" She asked letting the water cool down a little deeming it too hot to drink.

"Well it's a three hour flight and the hotel is I guess like an hour and half from there so we'll reach the hotel around 2 or 3 depending on how many stops we take."

Serena nodded along, taking small sips of the warm water. The burn soothed her throat.

"We won't start the investigation until night anyway so I guess we will stop somewhere and after we get to the hotel we'll take a tour maybe chill around for a bit before starting with the video." Colby typed something on his phone before continuing.

"Just to be careful, I've read there's some creeps lurking around those premises. It's not exactly a proper city area it's in the outskirts I guess so all I'm saying is just be careful."

Serena finished her water before speaking. "I'm sure we'll be fine, there's five of us and if anything does happen we have Celina." Colby gave her a look.

"And you of course." She added smirking at him.

"Joke around all you want, we'll see who gets shit scared when we get there." He winks. "That's not fair! You know I get startled easily!" Serena complained getting down from the high chair.

She rinsed and dried the mug before place it back in the cabinet where she kept it everytime she visited.

"Sure startled is the correct term for it."

"Don't you dare get sarcastic with me Brock, I'll start using words your stupid dictionary has never even heard of." She huffed.

"Okay I'm sorry, don't get all mad at me now." He pouted. "Don't use your puppy eyes, they won't work." She flicked him on the forehead before picking up her overnight bag.

"Fuck you!" Colby yelled from the kitchen. Serena flashed him her middle finger before closing the door of the guest room.

Guess who's on a roll today! Another chapter yay!
Also I won't be posting the next chapter until we hit at least 50 or 80 reads. I want to know if this book is worth writing.

(I want to update so baddd I've got like 4 chapters lined up ready to go. But we don't have enough views. I kinda want to post but that just means I'm not sticking by what I said before... let's see depends on my mood)
