Serena unlocked her apartment door and the smell of fresh flowers hit her. She slightly smiled when she spotted the vase full of fresh white roses on her coffee table.

"This place is amazing." Colby closed the door behind him as he took in his surroundings. "I love what you've done with this place, it's so you." Serena smiled at his compliment. "Thanks, would you like anything to drink?" She asked. "Nope I'm good we just ate remember?" He chucked a bit.

Serena sat on her couch and gestured for Colby to do the same. "So what do you usually do when you're alone?"

"I read books or work on my music mostly, sometimes when I'm too exhausted for either I just curl up with a glass of wine and a pizza and watch the tv." She revealed. "What in the tv?" Colby kept the conversation going. "Well that depends it's can range from a cheesy romcom to a murder documentary."

"Wow." Colby laughed at the polar opposite tastes of the girl. "What are you in the mood for right now?"

"Well I don't know a horror movie I guess? I mean given the occasion." Serene pointed to Colby who shook his head with a smile. "Fine by me."

Serena handed Colby the remote while she went in the kitchen to get some snacks. By the time Colby selected a movie, Serena emerged with two wine glasses, an unopened bottle of wine, a bucket of popcorn and some candy.

She laughed when she saw what movie he had picked. "The Nun?" She raised her eyebrows to which he only shrugged. "What? It's a good one."

She poured the wine into both their glasses and handed one to Colby. "Is red good?" She asked to the boy who nodded. "Are you trying to get me drunk?" Colby asked eyeing the amount of wine she poured. "What can I say? I like drunk Colby way better." She winked.

Colby's hand tightened on the glass after what she did. Fuck me this girl will he the death of me.

Serena pressed play on the movie stuffing a handful of popcorn in her mouth from the bucket that sat between the two of them. A jump-scare caused her to jerk. "You scared?" Colby teased, "not really it's just the sound that they use that startles me." She reasoned.

Two movies and half a bottle of wine later they decided to get dinner. "What'd you want to eat?" Serena scrolled through her phone on Uber eats.

"What do you want?" He peeked into Serena's phone to get a good look at the options. "Well I was thinking Chinese takeout." Colby nodded taking out his phone and ordered some noodles, rice and orange chicken. "Done." Serena looked at him with a confused look. "I got us some Chinese takeout." He turned his phone to let her see the screen.

"Why would you do that? It's my house, I pay." The girl insisted. "Any guy who lets a lady pay when he can is not a true gentleman, my mom told me that. Not that I think you're not capable I know you are." He explained.

"Did you get any red meat?" Serena asked. "No I didn't, why do you want to? I played it safe with some noodles, rice and chicken."

"No, I actually have like minor reactions to red meat, so I prefer to eat vegetarian food." Colby nodded happy to learn something new about his friend. Yea friend, keep telling yourself that. "Cool. Noted. Not to get red meat while I'm with you, gotcha,"

Serena let out a small laugh at his awkward response and shook her head.

"The rice has egg though." He clarified. "Yeah that's fine."

"Hey S?" Colby called out. "Yeah?"

"We were thinking, me and Sam, that we want to go investigate the Crescent Hotel in Arkansas with Kris and Celina, you know Kris right?" Colby asked.

"Yep, we met at a party few months ago and have hung out a couple times after that, she's cool." Serena was fond of the blonde girl who she thought of as a good friend.

"That's great! We were hoping that you'd join us you know before you accompany us for a week. Sam and I thought it was a nice idea for the fans to get a little accustomed to you being on our channel. If you're not down it's totally fine. It's your call." Serena thought it was cute how Colby played with his rings when he got nervous similar to what she did.

"Sure why not? When are you guys planning to go?"

"Tomorrow." Colby winced at the shocked look on her face. He admits he shouldn't have sprung it on her last minute. "What the fuck? Colby that gives me a few hours' notice to pack and inform everyone!"

"I'm sorry, I'll help you pack, if you want." He offered.

"Nah I'll do it, what times the flight?" Serena went to her room and pulled out a suitcase from her closet. Colby followed her to keep their conversation going. "It's at 9 in the morning so we'll leave for the airport at 7:45."

"Alright and how long are we staying there?" Serena browed through her collection of hoodies. "A day, or two days at the most."

Colby smiled as she pulled out the 'xplr' hoodie he sent her.

"So I'll just stay the night at your's in the guest room if that's okay?" Serena knew Colby for about a month now so it's safe to say she trusted him enough not to murder her in her sleep.

"That's cool."

After Serena was done packing,they just talked about the most random things while they waited for their food to arrive. "And I was like 'yo you can't smack a woman even if you're gay' and he was like 'I don't care if I'm gay or not if that bitch doesn't shut her trap I'm throwing hands!' Like what the fuck?" Colby looked at her amused as she recalled the events from the past week where Eli almost killed a girl who was kept trash talking his celebrity crush aka Harry styles or as he called him god's apology to women and gay men.

"Damn Eli is twelve year old fan girl." Serena agreed as she nodded her head when the bell rung cutting their conversation off.

"Well dinner's here." She opened the door to reveal a young boy probably still in high school carrying their dinner.

"Uh Colby Brock?" He read off his phone but when he looked up and saw the girl standing there instead in tank top and shorts he just stared at her. "Um yea that's me." She gave out an awkward laugh.

"Wow you're really hot, I was expecting some old dude to open this door, I lost a bet to my friends but it was totally worth it, can I get a picture just to show them?"

The clearing of a throat caught their attention. "What's taking you so long?" Colby stepped to the door as well when Serena was taking too long. "Uh it's for Colby Brock yes?" He pointed to the bag in the boy's hand.

"Yes?" The boy glared at Colby. "Well I'm Colby Brock and that's my order so why don't you hand it over?" The younger boy shuffled awkwardly as he handed the bag to Colby.

"Can I still get the picture?" He mumbled.

"No." Colby shut the door in his face. Serena let out a loud laugh throwing her head back. "What's so funny?" Colby glared at her. "He thought you were probably an old man and was shocked when I opened the door instead."

"Well good thing I didn't let him get that photo then." He grumbled.

"Well Colby does sound like an old person name, I personally think Cole sounds way hotter." She admitted.

"You do now? Do you?" He mumbled.

"Kinda."

"Well I guess you're not getting dinner"

"Fuck you."

"You do know that you're staying the night at my place right?" He warned.

"Fuck."
