Solar Eclipse Fanfic: Idunna and Toundra

Chapter 2

Back in Heaven, Idunna sat with her younger sister Antheia to have a scone.
"So Idunna," Antheia started. "You said you had something to ask of me?"
"Yes I did." Idunna replied as she bit into her scone. She finished chewing before speaking again. "I visited the Middle Realm yesterday. I was enjoying a walk through the forest when I picked up a strange aura nearby."
"Oh really?" Antheia tilted her head looking at her sister. "What did it feel like?"
"It felt off at first. So I followed where it was coming from. And it led me to a nearby stream with a... well I'm not exactly sure what it was."
"What do you mean?"
Idunna bit into her scone again and took a moment before getting back to the conversation. "It looked like a furry dragon without wings. It was a female. She was bathing in the stream. At first I thought she was a demon but I wanted to see if you knew before I decided on that conclusion."
"I see. And you didn't go up to her and ask?"
"Are you kidding? If she WAS a demon, I didn't wanna have to fight for my life."
"Well if she's a demon, she would've picked up your scent just as you picked up her aura. Would you like me to ask Lilith? She's bound to know who this mysterious woman is. Especially if she's a demon."
"Your girlfriend?" Idunna's face twisted into a look of distain.
"Yes my girlfriend. I thought you finally accepted her Dunna."
Idunna sighed softly. "I accept anything that makes you happy Antheia. But I'm still having a hard time adjusting to the fact you're dating someone of the Lower Realm. You used to be engaged to Gabriel."
"And we don't speak of that anymore. Lilith is wonderful to me. I really love her. So please try to make an exception. For me?"
Idunna sighed again. "Fine. Only for you. So you said she might know who that girl was?"
"Yes. As long as you're able to properly and explicitly explain how she looked."
"Understood. Shall we go now?"
Antheia smiled and nodded standing. Together, the two set out for the Middle Realm to meet with Antheia's demon girlfriend, Lilith.
