21- Helping out

Red had been excited hear Silver and Winter were dating now but he was slightly nervous about leaving now. What would Silver think? Would he think he's jealous of his relationship, or worse, jealous of him? Red quickly shook of his anxieties and hopped right out of bed.

Red the went to the scroll rack on his side of the room and reached for the map of the world, he hesitate and grabbed the scroll above it instead, it was his plan to help Silver on a date, he had planned to use it later, but now would probably be better.

Red quickly walked down the halls with the scroll in his pouch, he waved at a few dragons as he passed, like Moon, Qibli, Turtle, the dragonets of destiny and Peril. Red was still a little upset with Kinkajou, but he'd forgive her eventually.

Red eventually bumped into Silver, "Oh, Red, I was just about to get you, I was wondering, should I get flowers for my first date with Winter?" Silver said with excitement in his voice, his face was as cute as ever, "Um... Yeah, you should!" Red said quickly, he wished his mind would let him say anything to Silver about him leaving but every time he thought of it he suddenly felt nervous.

Red the said, "Um... actually I have a plan for your date with Winter!" Silver's eyes lit up like stars in the sky as he said, "You do! Wow, you're the best!" Red felt slightly embarrassed but gave Silver a quick run down of the plan.

(Timeskip, a hour later)

Red had been stressed all day, he told Silver about his plan for Silver's date with Winter, and now he was going to help with it later. Red had decided that he would leave a note and then leave after Silver's date, there was no way he could say he was leaving, it would hurt him to see Silver's emotional pain.

Red quickly wrote, "To Silver, I'm sorry you have to find out this way but I'm leaving, or more specifically I've already left. I really wanted to say this to your face but I couldn't, I'm truly sorry. Best of wishes, Red." Red then drew a small picture and wrote, "P.S. I'm going to be traveling so don't try sending me letters, but I'll send you tons!" Red then placed it right by Silver's ink container on his table.

Red knew Silver wouldn't return until after the date as Red was helping set up the date and get ready. Red quickly snuck out to the secret date area he and Silver were setting up for him and Winter.

As Red approached he saw Silver was finished setting up, "Oh, hey Red, I set early so we can practice what we're going to do." Red looked at Silver and then said, "Yeah, you're not ready, we need to give you a makeover." Silver looked slightly nervous as Red smirked mischievously as he pulled out makeup from his pouch.

Soon, Red quickly put the makeup on Silver, dragon makeup was more for shining the scales than for making them have different glow or hiding pours. Red pulled out a small mirror and showed Silver, Silver smiled and said, "Wow, my scales look incredible! Thanks Red!" Red smiled and then said, "No problem, anyways, I'll get into my waiter attire so we can practice."
