Red had made the reservation at the skywing snow peaks and decided to go check on a few other dragons in the Skywing Kingdom that he knew.
Red quickly flew down to a large village near the palace quickly finding a shop labeled, 'Diamonds and gold', "Hey, Owl, are you here?" Red said as he approached, a tall skywing quickly popped out from under the table adjusting his glasses as he said, "Red, is that you?" Red nodded and said, "Yeah, long time no see, how have you been?"
Owl then said, "I've been fine, how's your life been?" Red smiled and said, "It's been great, my best friend is getting married and I have a girlfriend." Owl nodded and said, "Ok, so who is it? Perhaps Queen Ruby?" Owl had a teasing tone as he said that, Red then said, "No, it's this beautiful albino Nightwing named Fullmoon."
Owl then smiled and said, "That sounds great anyways, you wanna hear some bad news?" Red shrugged and said, "Sure, what's wrong?" Owl then said, "Remember how Ruby had that challenge to help her make an heir to the thrown and how you won but weren't committed to it, so you only did it until she had a female dragonet?" Red blushed at the mention of that, it was during a long period of time where he was on vacation away from the rest of his friends, "Yeah, I remember, why?" Red asked.
Owl took a deep breath and said, "Well, it turns out, the female egg was a twin egg... A flamescale and flame less skywing!" Red quickly realized what he ment, "Oh... Oh no, please tell me they're not going to kill them." Owl then said, "Don't worry, Queen Ruby was actually very against their destruction, and now there are two adorable heirs! Although one is a lot more dangerous then the other."
Red let out a sigh of relief and said, "You had me scared for a minute." Owl nodded and said, "I was scared too, they didn't seem like monsters, I'm glad Queen Ruby spared them. Oh, that reminds me, Queen Ruby wants to see you, she said awhile ago that if you return to get you to go to her, ok?" Red nodded and quickly headed toward the castle.
As Red entered he was surprised to bump into a small dragon at who looked just like him, the dragonet stared at him with deep blue eyes before scampering off yelling, "Mom! Mom! There's a larger me in the halls!" Suddenly the dragonet was picked up by Ruby, Red quickly bowed to her as she looked at him with a smile, "No need to bow, we're far to close for that."
Red straightened himself nervously, suddenly two more dragonets popped out of a room, one was a dull orange while the other was a bright orange, the bright orange one then said, "Mom, who's that?" Ruby then said, "That is your father, Red." The three dragonets looked at Red with excitement and the one in Ruby's talons quickly wiggled out and ran up to Red.
"Hi, I'm Valley, are you really our dad?" The male Dragonet said, Red nodded and said, "Yeah, and I assumed these are your siblings?" Red pointed to the two other dragonets, Valley nodded and said eagerly, "Yeah, that's Ashes and Cinder, Mom says not to touch Cinder but I see Ashes do it all the time!"
Red laughed slightly to himself as Ruby then said, "Well, it's getting late, you three head to bed, I want to speak to your father for a bit." As the Dragonets left Ruby motioned for Red to follow her, Ruby lead Red into a small private room with a couple of wine bottles stacked neatly in a pile.
Ruby popped open the wine and poured it into two glasses as she sat down, taking a long drink of her wine, "So Red, did you come on my request or did you come with your own intention?" Red shook his head, "N-No! I came because you asked me." Ruby nodded and said, "Good, because you're not really my type when it comes to marriage, small dates, yes, marriage, no." They both giggled a bit as Ruby then said, "So anything interesting going on with you?"
Red nodded and said, "Yeah, I have a girlfriend and Silver is getting married." Ruby smiled and said, "Good for him, that Winter always seemed like quite the catch, Silver's lucky to have him." As they kept talking the quickly drank down their drinks and Red was offered to stay in the guest room until dawn, he agreed as he could barely see with light.
