When Skizz returned to the harbour. He found everything running shockingly smoothly. Edward was getting some supplies ready, while York was readying his train, which sat right next to the tramp steamer.
"Global warming, more like, how good is this weather?" Skizz repeated, to no reply. Which he sighed at.
"All's running.. Ehem.. Ship-shape." Edward guffeled at his own wit. Skizz only chuckled as he pulled alongside. The two engines watched, as York's guard blew her whistle.
"Here we go." York huffed. And he started with a will! He jerked the trucks forward into motion! This did the trick, York was only just reaching the end of the siding, when all of a sudden, there a shrieking, groaning CRACK! To their horror, the two bystanding engines watched as York's flatbed began leaning dangerously to one side!
"STOP! STOP! STOP!" The two engines frantically shouted! But York couldn't hear them! As last, his driver looked back!
"Oh crikey!" The small little goth girl gasped. "We're losing our train!"
"WHAT!?" York's brakes came on with a start! The trucks banged into York hard! And the flatbed was tossed off the rails! But it didn't stop! It swung out, right towards the tramp steamer!
"LOOK OUT!" York cried! But it was too late! The flatbed ploughed into the tramp steamer! Ripping the gaping hole in it's side! Water gushed into the hole!
"WHAT!? NO!?" Cried Edward! For the second time that month, alarms began to ring throughout the harbour!
"STOP THAT SHIP FROM SINKING!" Cried the project manager! The two engines jumped into action! Soon, all three engines were tied to the ship!
"COME ON!" Huffed Skizz "PULL!"
The three engines all heaved as hard as they could! Workmen and ship crewmates lept from the boat! The three engines were frantic!
"COME ON!" Edward groaned! "DON'T LET IT CAPSIZE!"
"I'M TRYING!" York replied! "I CAN'T HOLD ON FOR MUCH LONGER!"
The ship captain could only watch in horror, as the tramp steamer begun to tilt sharply. The three engines just pulled and pulled!
"WE'RE NOT LOSING THIS ONE!" Skizz cried! "WE CAN'T LOSE IT! PLEASE!"
But it was no use. The ship couldn't handle the water pressure any longer. First York's rope was cut, then Skizz's and finally Edward's. The three engines could now only watch in dismay, as the sinking ship was carried out towards the estuary, before it finally sank, deep below the water. Now, the only sounds that filled the air was the sirens. No one said a word.

Once again, much like when the harbour had been blown to smithereens, The Fat Controller examined the sight of the disaster, watching the ship out at sea.
"What a mess..." The Fat Controller sighed. "How could this have happened?"
"It was a flatbed on York's train." Edward explained. "I'm not sure how, or why for that matter, but it just swung out, must've been unnoticeable."
And he got Kate to gesture to the culprit.
"Hang on?" Princess quizzed. "Wasn't that the faulty flatbed? Didn't Skizz say he was meant to put that truck on the out of use sidings?"
"And I did!" Skizz replied. "It wasn't to be touched."
"We were never told about the faulty wagon." Edward's guard added. "Either way, it was in one of the regular sidings. No such out of use siding was even near the flatbed."
The Fat Controller nodded, piercing everything he was being told together in his head.
"Seems like a lapse of communication and simple error." He said. The Fat Controller sighed once more, he'd been doing too much of that recently. "None of you are to blame, just lots of little elements combined into this accident."
"What can we do to make up for this accident?" Edward asked. "We have to put this right!"
"That's right!" Skizz replied. "I don't want to sit around and do nothing!"
"The only thing you can do now." The Fat Controller told everyone, sternness showing through, for the first time in a while. "Is get this harbour finished before the grand opening."
"Grand opening?" Kate raised an eyebrow. "What grand opening?"
"For when the harbours finished?" The Fat Controller replied. "Did I not tell you?"
"Lapse of communication ey?" Sayori snickered. The Fat Controller just shook his head, dejectedly.
