Y/n was at her chamber, on the corner at her desk as she worked on a few paperwork. 
Her eyes were fixated on her work, there was no sound heard than the birds outside and her writing a few things on a paper. 

That was until she heard a knock on the door, Her ears perked up as she put her pen down and opened the door. 
Seeing Michiya in front of her she took a while to respond 

" Michi?... " 
Y/n murmured as she held the door knob 

" Ah...Good to see you up and well. " 
Michiya said as he held a bouquet behind him, trying to hide it from Y/n but she could see it 

There was an awkward silence for a while and then Michiya handed her the bouquet of White Carnations and he spoke 

" Seems like you've gotten healthier since Sir Lucas came back " 
" No more passing out? Getting sleep? " 

Y/n listened as he spoke, A bit bothered not knowing how to reply to this gesture since she hadn't talked to Michiya for a long time, And the last interaction they had was him finding her passed out on the floor. 

" Uh...Yes...I'm sorry I wasn't able to visit you or check up on you since I was busy with His Majesty. " 

" It's alright as long as you are alright. " 
Michiya smiled paused for a bit and spoke

" But I can tell you're still tired. " 
Michiya muttered and Y/n sighed

' This is so awkward...Why'd he come out of nowhere..'
Y/n thought to herself and she brushed the topic off and spoke 

" What brings you here..." 

Michiya noticed how she felt uncomfortable and sighed and spoke 
" Sir Lucas called me to do a few works, I just passed by to visit and give you these flowers. " 

' Lucas is probably avoiding work again..' 
" Alright...Thank you for your concern, Michi. " 

Michiya bowed and spoke
" Sir Lucas also said to head to His Majesty's office for a discussion, I'll be going now Thank you. "

" Ah Okay..." 
Y/n mumbled and watched Michiya walk away, as he walked further Y/n thought to herself

' We're getting distant, for what? ' 

After a while, Y/n snapped back to reality took a few papers, and headed to Claude's office. 
When she arrived Lucas spoke 

" You're Late. " 

" I'm here anyways. " 
Y/n replied in a mutter Looked at Claude and bowed

" Blessings to the Sun of The Empire, Good Morning your Majesty. " 

Claude looked at her and he spoke
" Report. " 

Y/n nodded and she continued with her report of a few things, a few about work, and a few about the state of the empire and more. 
Lucas stood at the side listening while observing Claude and Y/n, Then Claude spoke

" What about your work? " 
As soon Claude brought that up Y/n paused

" You said when This Head Magician here came back you've had more time for yourself, But lately you've been exhausted, even I can tell. " 
Claude said and Y/n had no reply as she looked at the ground, Then he glanced at Lucas 

" Magician, Are you giving her all the work? " 
Claude said sharply and Lucas replied 

" No Your Majesty, It's just been a mess with the nobles lately and it's adding more work within us, I'm sure it also affects you too. " 
Lucas replied calmly and Claude sighed after a few moments of silence Claude spoke
