University

Yuya smiled happily from the front passenger seat of his father's car, looking up at the big university building in front of them. It was still hard to believe that he managed to get accepted into his first choice of college, Ryutoshi University.

He still blushed a little when he remembered how he screamed when he got his college acceptance letter. His parents had come running, thinking that something was terribly wrong. At least they weren't upset about the scare he gave them when he told them the good news. They were both very proud of him, and bragged about it to everyone they saw, to the point where it was a little embarrassing for Yuya.

Yuya's father parked the car in the university parking lot. "Now, are you sure you have everything?" he asked. "You haven't forgotten anything?"

"I've got everything," Yuya assured him. Yusho frowned, "You're sure? Your books? Your computer? Your shower shoes?"

"Yes, dad, I'm sure," Yuya said, smiling. Yusho looked at him for a bit, and Yuya's smile faded a little. "Dad? Are you ok?"

"Time really does just fly by quicker than anticipated," Yusho sighed. "I didn't think you'd grow up so fast. It feels like just yesterday you and Yuto and Yuzu were all playing together in the kiddie pool..."

Yuto was Yuya's best friend since childhood, and he was attending the same university as the tomato-haired young man. The two of them had been ecstatic when they learned that they wouldn't be separated by distance. Yuzu had been friends with them both too, until... the incident.

Yuya focused on the thought of being in university with Yuto and smiled. "Don't worry Dad! I'll call every week, and I'll be home during my vacations!"

"I know," Yusho said, smiling back. "Well, I hope you have a fun college experience! I'll be looking forward to your calls! And your room will be waiting for you when you visit!"

Yuya hugged his father, before getting out of the car. It was time for a new chapter in his life!
