Dating

Yuya was in a very good mood as he video chatted with his parents later that evening, and they certainly noticed. His father even commented on it. "What's got you so cheerful, Yuya?" he asked. Yuya blushed and said, "Yuto and I are dating now!"

"Oh, that's wonderful!" his mother said excitedly. "I always knew you two would end up together one day!"

Yuya blushed brighter, smiling shyly. "I'm glad we did! He's really sweet, and he's been my best friend ever since we were born, and I feel like we were just meant to be! We're planning on going on our first date next Friday evening!"

"Oh, well you'll have to tell us all about it!" Yoko said. "My little boy, all grown up and going on his first date! Oh, I'm so proud of you, Yuya!"

Yuya rubbed his nose and ducked his head. "I'm really excited too. Yuto and I are planning on having our first date at the dinner theater, and then we're going to go to the skating rink to skate around, and then we'll take a walk in the park."

"That sounds like a perfect first date idea!" Yusho said, nodding in approval. "I hope you both enjoy it!"

"I'm sure we will!" Yuya said. "I'm really looking forward to it!"

The door to the dorm opened, and Yuri and Yugo walked in, looking very pleased with themselves. They were holding hands too! Yuya grinned and said, "Oh, yeah! Yuri and Yugo started dating too!"

"Oh, your roommates? Oh how cute!" Yoko said. "I'm so happy for all of you!"

"Hey, Yuri, Yugo!" Yuya said, smiling up at them. "What happened with the nightmare roommate?"

"He didn't believe we were together at first," Yuri said, and Yugo blushed brightly. "So Yugo kissed me, and then he believed us!"

Yuya giggled. "Yugo, you charmer!" His parents chuckled, hearing the conversation. Yugo blushed brighter, and said, "Yeah, and then his roommate asked if that meant you were up for grabs. Yuri had a little too much fun telling him that you just started dating your childhood best friend. Oh, that guy was SO mad!"

"Well, it's not like he had a chance anyway!" Yuri said smugly. "Yuya's way too sweet and nice to date someone like him."

"Too true!" Yugo agreed, nodding sagely. "Yuya deserves way better!"
