Freedom. 

What exactly is this word? 

For some it may be just a word you hear from time to time. For some it may be something that describes them.

But for some.. like me.. it's just a wish.. or a fantasy of some sort.

Freedom is not something that you can acquire whenever and however you want.

But it is something that everyone deserves to have.

And I will do anything to achieve it.

I was thinking about how to establish myself in this school for 2 months now. Of course, besides the 1st year that already passed by. I made no progress whatsoever but.. how did I end up playing this game with this 'guy'?

It's not like I don't like this game, nothing of the sorts. In fact it is actually quite fun that there is actually someone that can compete with me. NONAME, huh? What an intriguing man. Or that is what I would have thought if I didn't know that it was her  the whole time.

Hinami Aoi. The most popular girl in the school.

It's not surprising, given her achievements thus far. The best in academics, the best girl athlete, track field ace and frankly speaking she is very cute as well.

A Top-Tier character. Above all of these, is the fact that she is one of the best players in this game- Attack Families, a.k.a Tackfam.

And fate had it that we decided to meet in this place, though if I knew it was her I wouldn't have bothered coming here. After all, I could already tell what she was thinking from the moment she realized that I'm nanashi.

" Hold on... L-let me process this a little.. " she said putting her hand on her forehead.

" Take your time " I said

" You are.. nanashi? "

" What about it? "

Is she in disbelief? I can understand somehow that you didn't expect me of all people, but you don't have to sound so hurt about it..

" I just.. didn't expect.. someone like you.. to be nanashi.. "

That actually kind of hurts.

" That's pretty harsh, isn't it? Especially coming from you Hinami-san "

I guess everyone has a side to them that nobody knows about. I'm no stranger to that.

she took a deep and regrettable sigh " This sucks... " 

" Sorry I'm not what you expected I guess  "

" No, no.. it's my fault for expecting too much. But still.. I didn't expect you at all, and how come you are not in the least surprised? Did you know it was me? "

" I am surprised, it just doesn't show on my face. Anyway wanna grab some ice cream? "

It will be my first in a while. I will go for a different flavor this time around.

" Why would you wanna go eat ice cream all of a sudden? I'm done here " 

She was prepared to leave, but I grabbed her arm before she could do so.

" Are you really just gonna leave after spending so much time preparing to meet the #1 player? Now that's a waste of time "

She kept silent for some good amount of seconds, probably fighting her own thoughts.
