A Gamble In Real-Life Chess

I was currently in the Sewing Room #2. But for some reason, this time was different. It wasn't just me and Hinami talking about the tasks and the Game of Life.
Mizusawa and Mimimi were present as well. They were waiting for me to explain the plan I put up against Hinami. Even tho I wish those 2 weren't present, I would reveal to them my plan and my thought process

" So. Ayonokoji-kun. From the beginning if you would " said Hinami

I sighed before beginning to talk " All right. I must say that your opinion on me would probably change, would you still want me to reveal everything? "

They all looked each other in the eyes and then nodded in agreement.

" I want to know " said Hinami confidently

" Me too, me too!~ " said Minami

" I wanna know as well " responded Mizusawa

Here goes nothing then.

" Firstly, I tried gathering information about how Hinami will fight " they nodded at the same time

" Secondly, I made sure my meetings with Mimimi were hidden from you 2, or at least I made sure not to look suspicious if I talked to her " they just stared at me waiting to go on

" Thirdly, I had to make sure that Mimimi won't be fighting clean against Hinami. She wasn't a fan of it at first but she came around afterwards "

" What do you mean by not fighting clean? " asked Mizusawa with his hand up

" Remember how Mimimi made a comedic scene at the beginning? " both Hinami and Mizusawa nodded
" She changed her expression and her mood all of a sudden moments later, didn't she? "

" True... it was a bit strange, but what good would that do? " said Mizusawa in a low voice

" I told her to do that. Since she was known as the most cheerful person throughout the school, a sudden change in her attitude would raise suspicions, wouldn't it? You could say that only the 1st years don't know her well but I took precautions of that as well. We'll get to it later "

I took a look at their faces. Both Mizusawa and Hinami tried to figure out how things could have a link between them. When I looked at Minami, her face was full of admiration. Did she figure it out?

" So, you made the audience feel like sympathizing with Mimimi's change of mood, right? But that still wouldn't do that much in the vote numbers. And as you said, the 1st years might not even know why she'd do that " 

" Exactly. But think a bit before the election, Hinami. You went with the strategy to destroy our campaign promises, didn't you? You wouldn't really think I'd be the one who told the 1st years that we'll put A/Cs in the school, would you? "

" Of course.. of course! That's actually brilliant, Ayanokoji-kun! " exclaimed Hinami

" What am I missing? " asked Mizusawa facing Hinami

" Basically, while Ayanokoji was working in the background, Mimimi was going from 1st years to 1st years. Eventually they would catch on Mimimi's cheerfulness and her clumsy attitute. Doing that, they would sympathize with Mimimi as well when her mood changes in important circumstances " explained Hinami

" But still.. that many votes from that..? There's gotta be more " Mizusawa said while having 2 fingers on his chin

" Hm, hm~. Of course there is more, Takahiro-kun~ " said Mimimi proudly
