Sirens were blaring throughout The entire facility and numerous screams could be heard from down the hall as I ran. Blood was splattered all throughout the various halls and I tried desperately to avoid looking at the remains Of the mangled corpses and body parts everywhere.

Tears stung my eyes as I pushed forward running past the dead colonists. as much as I wanted to stop and to hide away from all of this I knew if I stopped running I would end up just like them.

I have to keep going, I have to get out of here!

Turning a corner I stopped in my tracks and my eyes widened in horror at the sight before me.

A woman was screaming and crying as she desperately struggled to break free From the grasp of a massive creature that's head nearly reached the ceiling. With numerous tendrils coming from its back and some kind of armored spine it held her in its gasp like a child holding a toy. Lifting her into the air with little to no effort.

She screamed and cried out for help as it held her up with its back turned towards me and it opened its maw. A long slick black tongue came from its mouth to lick the side of the woman's face as it brought her closer. I stepped back as the girl noticed me and shouted out for me to help.

I could only stand there and watch as the monster bit Off her head with a single bite. Splattering blood everywhere before swallowing. It then started tearing off bits of flesh and limbs as it gorged itself like a starved animal.

As if sensing me it paused and turned to look back at me with soulless white eyes, lowering the fresh body in its grasp.

Shaking my head I turned and ran in the opposite Direction, absolutely horrified.

'I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry!!!' I should have done something. I should have stopped it. But I was too scared of dying.

I finally Managed to get to the hangar where there were dozens of people rushing to try and get on one of the ships and leave the facility. There were already Several of the monsters in the room tearing into the colonists as they ran for the ships preparing to take off.

Five of the seven ships closed their doors and took off into the air flying off as numerous people were left behind to be mercilessly slaughtered. I saw two more trying to take as many survivors as possible as the monsters Closed in on them killing as they went. One such creature used its tendrils to spear through the humans around it and drag them closer to start devouring them like they were merely bugs on sticks.

I watched as two of the monsters rushed towards one of the ships, chasing after a man. They couldn't close the door in time before they got to.the ship and started slaughtering everyone inside. Their screams crying out throughout The entire room.

A growling from behind me grabbed my attention and I looked back to see the monster that killed the woman before was stalking after me. Eyes widening in horror I ran for the last ship as a man in a blue suit waved the last few survivors on board and told everyone to hurry.

I could hear the creature behind me giving Chase as I ran towards the ship calling out for them to wait. The man looked at me as the ship started up and he reached out his hand for me to grab it.

"Come on!!"

I pushed myself to run harder as the ship started moving away and at the last second I flung myself onto the ramp grabbing the man's hand as the ship lifted off the ground and the monster giving chase screeched.

Everyone on board watched as the place was overrun by the monsters and all the other survivors that couldn't escape were slaughtered.

My savior pulled me into the ship's bay as the ramp started to close and we left the colony we once called home behind.
