He did what...? (Gyro x reader)

The whole lab was in chaos as the two scientists were looking for a bunch of inventions. A handful of tiny robots were gathered but one remained missing.

No one knew about the intrusion of triplets that took it out of the lab. Hewey, Dewey and Louie needed the little robot to make a video while they make stunts on a skateboards, rollerblades, and inline skates. The red triplet assured his brothers that he would return the robot to Gyro as soon as they finished their moves. Unfortunately, he didn't think of the robots will of walking off without thinking. The light bulb spotted a massive bulb logo in the distance and headed towards it. The triplets were currently fighting and didn't notice the missing robot.

In the meantime, Gyro Gearloose found out who stole the last invention from the lab. The surveillance camera showed the triplets and how they walked out. The scientist was in rage but not bothered to search for them. Instead, he sent his intern to find the boys. During that time the ducks had noticed the missing bulb and looked for it.

The robot was impressed by the massive logo and went inside the building. It turned out to be a café called 'Smart sweeties". The little bulb walked across the glass and looked at the desserts with admiration. It was more impressed as I walked in making the desserrt right in front of the robot. TO make sure I did not see them watch he switched with a lamp nearby. I didn't notice the little thing while I heard three triplets walk past the café. Minutes later a duck ran in the same direction. "What is going on today?" I wondered. Normally it is a quiet and less turbulent area, but something was going on and I had no idea that I became part of that situation.

The desserts I made were custom made for someone in town.

My colleague was supposed to deliver them but for some reason...it disappeared. I mean I made this sweet just now, how can it be gone? Looking everywhere my eyes didn't even notice the leaflet at the board was missing...and one of the business cards of the café. That little bulb took the whole lot and ran down the streets...in the opposite direction as the triplets.

Fention the intern from Gyro had finally caught the boys but the invention was still missing. Disspaointed they all went to the money bin. Hewey was scared to tell Gyro of his missing robot. He knows how mad that guy can be when someone is taking his darlings without asking. But the minute they entered the lab the scientist showed no sign of anger. Shocked to see the missing little bulb back got the triplets thinking. How did it get back? Fenton went over to Gyro and noticed the sweets, "Wow the guy was really quick today."

Gyro shrugged at that, "Don't know I haven't seen him but once I do it won't be pleasant."

The intern asked why, and the scientist was back to his angry self, showing the leaflet, "That guy thinks to be a funny one. I ordered desserts not his opinion that I need a girlfriend!" the leaflet was for a speed dating even at the café. The business card was on top of the box. As on cue the phone rang and Gyro sighted loud, "What now?!"

He picked up, "Who is this?!"

"Is this Dr. Gearloose I am talking to?"

"So what?!"

"I called to apologize for the delay. I kind of...lost it."

Gyro raised a brow, "Lost it? I got it right here."

"Huh?"

"The box is here and whoever brought it should be fired!" He slammed the phone down and went to the sweets. Only for the phone once more.

"What?!"

"Sir, no one delivered your order, and no one PAID for it either."

Gyro was furious, "Are you trying to fool me? Someone must have brought..." then it clicked, and his gaze went to little bulb, "...it." His voice was suddenly deep and menacing, "...YOU...!" From my side of the line, I heard rumbling and things get smashed. After a few minutes Dr. Gearloose was back, "I will be right over."

The triplets ans Fenton had to clean the lab from Gyros outrage with his robot.

Apparently, the triplets made fun of Gyro not dating anyone and inside ethe café it noticed the name on the delivery box. With the leaflet, the card and me working there the robot saw the change of a lifetime. Unfortunately, no one could see Gyro and me at the café.

The scientist had lost all his anger during his walk to the café.

Once he entered the building, I greeted him. I knew him as he ordered every month a box for him and his colleagues. He paid his share and wanted to leave till I asked him about his comment with the delivery boy. For Gyro was it embarrassing to tell me about the situation in detail and even more to apologize for him yelling on the phone.

"Maybe picking up your order in person might do the trick."

"I don't have time for this" he blocked.

"It seems to be good for you...you should invest your time in this" I said with a wink and left the counter to clean the tables. Gyro didn't leave right away, instead he watched me work for a few minutes. To my luck was this good as I remembered something, "Oh Sir, don't forget to be here at 6 sharp."

"What are you talking about?"

I pointed at the board, "For the speed dating on Valentine's Day...you signed up for this."

In an instant his anger returned hitting the counter with his fist, "I did that? ...That little trashy piece of Arrrggh!"

Unfortunately, he had a problem...once signed in they must come otherwise they have to share free sweets for the event...

...and currently the scientist does not have money...
