The meeting came to an end after 3 hours. Barq was still confused about who the lady present there was. He excused himself, motioning for one of the men to come out with him. As the two men walked to the small balcony, Barq shoved his hands in his pockets, taking a deep breath. The other man stood there, waiting for his next command. "We need a change in the plan, but no one should know about this, only you and me," said Barq, raising one eyebrow. He was testing who was real and who was fake. The man nodded, looking directly into Barq's eyes.

The man listened to him carefully. After their secret conversation, which made the other man a bit suspicious about the situation, he said, "Actually sir, I myself don't know who exactly the lady is. She joined a few days back," he said in a low voice.

"It's alright, man. Nothing to worry about. We will find a solution to this. Make sure you don't spill the beans to someone else," Barq said, knowing very well that once they all depart from here, he will reveal this conversation to his partners.

As they walked out, Barq's eyes went to the lady who seemed to be very restless and sweating. Her fidgeting fingers were telling him enough, that the woman was hella scared or nervous. Even though she was not alone.

Barq shook hands with the two men, bidding them goodbye. Nora stiffened when Barq turned to her. She looked around without saying a word, and Barq escorted them outside. Meanwhile, Noya and Amayra were engrossed in a story that Noya was telling to Amayra. "And the beast lived happily ever after with his rose," Noya said, wrapping up the story. Amayra's eyes sparkled with delight. "The beast was so possessive of his rose! Just like daddy is so possessive of me," she said with a big grin.

"Yes!" Noya agreed, also with a big grin. Amayra giggled and hopped down from the couch, a worried expression appearing on her face. Noya scanned her face to understand what was bothering her, even though she had just been so excited. "I need to pee," Amayra pouted. Noya mouthed "oh" and, taking her in her arms, she rushed to the washroom.

Completing her bathroom business, Noya washed her hands. Amayra giggled at the bubbles and said, "Look, such small bubbles!" while pointing at a bubble, being careful not to burst it. Noya smiled at her words and said, "I can do magic and show you a big bubble!" She wiggled her eyebrows.

Amayra gasped with excitement and said, "Really? I want to see!" She jumped, making Noya chuckle. "Alright, my little birdie," Noya said, tapping Amayra's nose. Amayra giggled cutely. Noya took a lot of handwash and rubbed her tiny and chubby hands together, creating more foam. Then she curved her hands into a small O, making Amayra giggle and gasp with excitement. "It's magic!" Amayra whispered enthusiastically. "Yeah, you know? I am famous for such tricks," Noya said proudly.

They both turned around, securing the only bubble in their hands. They took tiptoe steps towards the bed. The bubble shrieked a bit, making them gasp with fear. Meanwhile, they heard footsteps clicking on the marble. They exchanged looks with horrified expressions and gasped when Barq twisted the doorknob, making them shiver. The bubble escaped from their light hold and went up in the air, towards the door.

As the door opened, the bubble hit Barq's nose and burst on his face, making the two laugh hard at his expression. He scrunched his nose.

"What is this? Are you 5 miss Noya?" he asked with such an unpleasant look.
Noya pouted and said, "I was showing a magic trick!" "Please, it's not needed," he says, sounding tired. He removes his tie and watch, placing the belongings on the dressing table. He walks into the wardrobe to get himself a fresh pair of clothes. Noya takes Amayra to wash her hands. "Daddy is just so boring," Amayra whispered to Noya, making her nod.

"Alright, I am going downstairs. Call me when you need anything, okay?" Noya says, wiping Amayra's tiny hands.

"I want something to eat, something spicy," Amayra says, licking her lips. Noya raises one eyebrow at her words. "Of course, what should I tell your daddy?" she asked, rolling her eyes. "I will put him to sleep and sneak out of the room!" Amayra whispered, giggling. Noya gasped dramatically.

"The brave birdie, take a bow," she says dramatically, tripping in front of Barq as he enters the room with an amused look. Amayra giggled at the joker Noya and amused Barq. "Daddy, Miss Nanny said I am brave."

Barq was deep in thought. He knew something or someone was keeping an eye on him and his small family. He needs to protect his daughter.

He just ruffled Amayra's hair and goes out to his study. Amayra pouted at her daddy's behavior.

While downstairs, Noya found Amayra snuggling up to her every now and then. She smiled at this, remembering the thought that if a kid or your pet keeps snuggling up to you, that means they trust you. She smiled and tapped Amayra's small nose, getting her attention.
"Amayra, should we order something for your daddy too?" Noya asked, as the chef had also left when Barq ordered her to make something for his visitors.

Amayra tapped her cheek, thinking hard. "Alright, order Greek salad with fried fish," Noya scrunched her nose at the word salad. "Your daddy is too boring! One should eat spicy, sweet, and yummy food, at least not salad," Noya says, making faces. Amayra giggled at her words. "I know, but daddy is daddy, you know," she says, shaking her head in pure dejection.

Watching the random movie, both tried to kill the time but couldn't.

Not able to withstand hunger, Noya rushed to the kitchen to make some sandwiches because Amayra was also hungry. She quickly made sandwiches and returned to the lounge to find Amayra dancing along with the cartoons. "Hey birdie, have this," she called out, making Amayra turn around and shake her head.

"No, I want something spicy," Amayra pouted and twirled. "Aha, have this for now. At least you won't starve until the order arrives, or else your daddy will be furious with me," she said, rolling her eyes. This made Amayra giggle.

"Who will be furious with you?" Barq asked in his deep voice, making Noya tense up.

Noya's eyes widened, and she turned around with shivering hands. Barq's dark red eyes were enough to make her shiver and go weak in her knees. She felt the smell of cigars coming from his mouth. She scrunched her nose and asked with a hint of confusion, narrowing her eyes, "Were you smoking, Mr. Boss?"

He rolled his eyes and replied, "Yeah, so?"

"You should not be smoking around kids! At least not in front of a young and beautiful girl," she said, flipping her hair. He raised one eyebrow at her words. Amayra giggled and jumped on the sofa, saying, "He does smoke a lot!"

Noya gasped dramatically, causing him to roll his eyes again. Meanwhile, the doorbell rang. Noya rushed to open the door when Barq said, "It's not fair to let a beautiful and young girl open the door, even when I am present here," with a small teasing smile, making her eyes widen. Amayra giggled even more.

"Daddy rocked, miss nanny shocked!" said Amayra, laughing so much. Barq chuckled at Noya's dropped jaw and unlocked the door, confused by the delivery boy.
