The new day arrived with new hopes and new opportunities. But not for everyone; everyone has different POV and different lives, lifestyles, thoughts, pain, and grief. And so was Noya's. Her eyes turned puffy with no sleep. She had a sleepless night, filled with worries. She was left with no commitments.

While here, the officers were back on duty. The head dialed Barq's number. After the second ring, Barq woke up with a jolt as he was peacefully sleeping with his daughter in his arms. She snuggled closer to him as he tried to get up. Her grip tightened as he attempted to move.

He gently caressed her head, assuring her in her sleep that he was by her side and no monster could scare her in her dreams. Grabbing his phone from the nightstand, he answered the call. The head officer narrated the whole story and inquired about Noya. Barq's eyes widened with shock. He closed his eyes in frustration. "This girl!" he thought, referring to her as the most clumsy, dramatic, and always-in-trouble girl.

"Yeah, I know her. She works as a nanny. Sir, I insist that she is just a chaotic person. You can trust her," he said, assuring the cop. "Yeah, I understood from my investigation. You have to come and sign for her bail," said the cop, making Barq sigh.

He turned to his sleeping daughter, who was sucking her thumb like a baby. She had had this habit for a long time. "Sure, I will be there within an hour," he confirmed and ended the call.

He closed his eyes in frustration and ran his hands through his hair. Blowing out his cheeks, he shook his head. "What a troublesome girl she is, always getting into trouble!"

"Who is troublesome, Daddy?" he heard Amayra asking in her sleepy voice. "No one, as long as we have you, baby," he says, forcing a tight smile on his lips, making Amayra glare at him cutely. She raised her hands, asking him to carry her. He took her in his arms, carrying her to his balcony to get some fresh air, which was their regular routine. Barq sat down on the chair, stroking Amor's hair. She snuggled in more, avoiding the sunrays falling on her.

"Daddy, my eyes hurt," she complains, covering her eyes cutely. "It's just sunlight, baby. Open your eyes and witness the most beautiful sunrise," he says softly, removing her hair aside.

Meanwhile, Barq's eyes snapped to his stepbrother's room, who was lying on his bed scrolling his phone. Barq was still confused about his arrival in their life. He knew he was still a kid.

He needed to have a word with him too. With a busy life, he had no time to thoroughly sort out any relationships. A few minutes later, with talks and smiles, he gave Amayra a quick bath and got ready too. They both came downstairs where his cousin was already trying to flirt with Hubaab. Barq shook his head at her attempts. "Hubaab, taste this Indian cuisine. I specially prepared this for you," she said, batting her eyelashes.

Barq and Amayra exchanged looks and rolled their eyes. Meanwhile, Hubaab was giving the silent treatment. "Let him breathe, Miss Cakey Makeover Woman," says Amayra in a duh tone, which made Barq chuckle. Hubaab too ignored everyone as usual and had his breakfast. As they were done with breakfast, an idea clicked in Barq's mind. "Hubaab, are you free?" he asked, wiping Amayra's mouth.

"Umm... is it anything important?" he asked as he stood up to leave. "Yeah, can you come with me? Just you and me," Barq said, giving a nod. The hidden words which Hubaab understood.

"What about me? Are you ditching me?" Amayra asked, gasping dramatically. Her daddy ruffled her hair with a smile, while Hubaab eyed the little girl who seemed to have a non-stop chatterbox mouth. "Of course, how can I forget you, amor? You are coming with us," he assured her, making her nod. Hubaab felt a tug in his heart. He too needed the same affection.

"Lets go, shall we?" he asked, to which Hubaad nodded and Amayra cheered with her fingers crossed.

And here, Noya was extremely sad with her destiny, making her go merry-go-round around the jail! Her heart sank when she felt an urge to go to the washroom. Not having the courage to disclose her matter to the male guardsman, she pouted and looked at the ceiling as if God was present there. "Don't you love me anymore? I need to pee! Help me, please," she mumbled, whining like a child.

Her belief in God wasn't something that a normal human has. She would literally ask God for every single thing to bless her with; she was this alone!

Meanwhile, Barq was driving back to the city. He found Amor busy with a tablet. Barq asked Hubaab, "How is life? Are you studying well?" Hubaab hummed and nodded, looking out the window. Amayra peeked while watching her cartoon and said, "I know it's difficult for you to accept us as a family, but let me tell you one thing: we only live once, so enjoy your life and every single moment. But also remember your upbringing and never let down mom, okay?" He asked, turning to Hubaab, who was now looking back at him.

"I won't let you and mom down," Hubaab said in a promising tone. "And what about me? Am I not part of the family?" Amayra interrupted, making Barq roll his eyes. Hubaab turned to her and looked away. Amayra gasped dramatically and punched his arm. "Amor, no violence. He is your uncle," Barq said in a stern voice.

"Uncle? That doesn't suit him at all," Amayra said, scrunching her nose. Hubaab royally ignored her words. "Don't mind her," Barq said, making her roll her eyes. "I don't mind kids," Hubaab replied, which made Amayra gasp dramatically again. "Did you just call me a kid!?" she yelled, making the two cover their ears!

Soon they reached the police station. Barq asked Hubaab to take care of his little headache, to which his brother gave a small nod. He walked into the police station only to find the head cop in his cabin with a girl who was curled up on the seat, and maybe crying? His eyes scanned her again as he sensed that he had seen her somewhere before. As he heard her soft sniffs, his eyes widened. It was obviously Noya. "Why is she crying?" he asked the head cop, who shrugged and shook his head. "We tried our best, but she didn't utter a single word," the cop said, tired from all his attempts.

Barq sighed as he approached her. She felt his presence behind her and turned towards him with the speed of light. She smiled through fat tears and blew her nose, jumping and hugging him like a koala.

"Boss you are my savour!" She mumbled with hiccups. Barq stood stiffened, his hands were hanged in air.
