My Little Koneko-chan (Kisshu and Ichigo Fanfic)

Chapter 9

"What? why? Is this just another way to be annoying?" His voice bellowed through the phone.

"I'm happy to see you too!" my words leaking with sarcasm. I heard a groan and I began, "Anyway... I have some news on the Black Knights."

"Great, I'll get a meeting together" he said in serious way, but I still detected a hint of excitement in his tone. I swear this man is bipolar. It's like one minute he's pissed off at everything, mostly me, and then the next he's Mr. Happy Go-lucky Scientist Man.

Well maybe he's not even bipolar, maybe it's just puberty and mood swings. How old is this guy anyway?

I snapped out of my day dream when I felt my wound begin to increase in pain. I ignored it and began to direct my attention to the phone. "Ok I'll see you 10 minutes, bye" I said as I hanged up the phone.

"What's going on Kitten?" Kisshu asked. His eyes drowned in confusion. "You'll find out later we just need to get to the Café."

"Fine, fine. I'll give you a lift" he smirked. He picked me up bridal style and we began to fly out the window. I clasped onto Kisshu as tight as I could for the fear of falling. Kisshu chuckled as I did which made me pout.

All of a sudden I felt rain drops begin to splatter on my body. It was just a minute ago the sun was out and there was a bright blue sky. What the hell is going on?

The rain began to come down harder and before we knew it little tiny bits of hail came. Once we finally reached the Café, chunks of hail the size of golf balls came hurling down at our heads. We ran into the Café as fast as we could.

We collapsed from exhaustion from running. Kisshu could of at least dropped us off a little closer to the Café.

"Ryou-chan!" My voice echoed throughout the shop. I look around to see all the customers staring up at me. I blushed. I forgot they were here. "In here" Ryou's voice yelled from the kitchen.

Kisshu and I walked into the Kitchen to see Ryou on top of Akasaka's shoulders trying to put up a pole that seemed to have fallen. "You look busy" I said. Ryou rolled his eyes and continued to work on the pole. "Well you kind of hanged up on me right before I could tell you that it wasn't a good time to come in 10 MINUTES!" Ryou said frustrated.

"I don't see the problem here. I mean you are always trying to get me to work early anyway" I replied. He rolled his eyes again "you're kind of a dumbass... Like how am I suppose to start a meeting when everyone is still at school."

I started to remember that I went home sick around lunch time. I look towards the clock which read, 1:45pm. It would be awhile before they get here, but at least we don't have to go through that storm outside.

"Since you are here you can start serving the customers out there" Ryou suggested. I groaned. "~And Kisshu, can you help us with fixing up the place" Ryou finished.

Kisshu said yes and went to fix the pole. I walked to the dressing room and changed into my red maid uniform. I sighed. This blows.

I walked to table 4 and began to take their order. Everything was ok, like there wasn't a lot of fun things until, there was a couple of guys who walked in. We did get guy customers, but they weren't often.

I walked them over to a table I just cleaned and began to take their order. "Welcome to Mew Mew Café, can I get you anything?" I asked in the most politest voice. "Yea, can we get you" the dirty blonde smirked and the dark haired one chuckled at his comment.

"I'm sorry that's not on the menu" I manage to keep my smile "I'll come back once you have decided your order." I walk away, but I was stopped when the dirty blonde grabbed my wrist. "Awww... Come play with us?" He flirted. My smile was gone by now and I glared at the customers. "I'm sorry, but I have to work" I retorted.

"Playing hard to get" whispered the dark haired to the blonde. They both smirked and look up at me. The dirty blonde got out of his chair and towered over me, "Why don't you ditch? You'll have a blast with us." "I'm going to ask you to leave. You are causing a ruckus and distracting me from my work" I replied confidently.

"But we want to play more" his hand inched closer to me, but I quickly smacked it away. "Leave." I said more demanding. Next the dark haired one got up. "I want you both out of my Café" I stated. By now the whole Café was looking at us.

"Come on, quit playing hard to get" the blonde grabbed me around the waist and arms pulling me closer to him. I tried to struggle out of his grasp, but he was too strong. I used the heel of my shoe and stomped on his foot.

He let go and began clutching his foot, hopping around the Café. "You bitch!" The dark one said. He lifted his arm ready to smack me. I scrunched up my eyes awaiting the pain. When it never came I opened my eyes.

To my surprise it was Kisshu clutching his arm tightly. "Back the fuck away" Kisshu hissed. "Freak" blondey replied. They both left and everyone started whispering. Kisshu sighed "Are you ok?" "Yea I'm good I replied" I mumbled.

Kisshu explained if anything happens, just yell. I nodded and he left to go help Ryou. I continued to work.

Before I knew it was 3:30 and the girls should be here by now. Ryou decided it would be good to close up early if we were to have a meeting.

The last customer said goodbye and I sighed in relief. Thank the heavens above that it is over.

"Ryou!" A familiar voice yelled. I ran out of the locker rooms. "Lettuce!" I yelled giving her a big bear hug. "Ichigo... I can't.... Breath...." She stuttered. "Gomen" I said releasing her.

Shortly followed Pudding, Mint, and Zakura. We all exchanged hellos and hugs. "Why haven't you been at the Café" Pudding asked. "It's complicated" I responded. "Let's start the meeting already" Ryou complained.

We sat at one of the tables and Akasaka served tea to everyone. "Ah, just what I needed... It was about time for my afternoon tea anyway" Mint sighed smoothly blowing to cool it down and taking a sip.

"Anyway" I coughed, "I have some news on the Black Knights or whatever they're clalled." "Well what is it?" Ryou said impatiently. "Well the leader, Kuro, transferred into my class at school. At lunch I was attacked and almost kidnapped" I briefly described my day.

"Wowwwwww... He tried to kidnap you?!" Kisshu gritted his teeth together. "I'm fine though" I said trying to calm him down. "You're fine my ass! He cut your shoulder!" Kisshu yelled banging on the table.

"Kisshu, sit down" I demanded.

The meeting ended and we all agreed that we need to stick together and always stay in public places. Kisshu didn't talk as we walked back home.

I crashed on my bed thinking about what all happened today. "Why did this have to happen during this time" Kisshu mumbled to himself. "What?" I asked. He sighed "I need to go back to my planet."

I stare at him blankly. "What the problem? Just go if you have to" I retorted. "I can't with that psychopath after you!" Kisshu yelled.

"I'm not a kid. I can take care of myself" I said "plus your planet needs you." "Yea right" he said sarcastically. "Kisshu I'm 14! I can take care of myself" I said harshly.

I know I'm being mean, but I can do things on my own, I don't need a babysitter. Plus, is planet needs him.

"Whatever. I'll be back in 2 days" he sighed and whispered "I can't believe I'm doing this."

Me neither. I swear I was expecting him to satay here no matter what. Oh well, at least he knows I can take care of myself.

We said goodbye and Kisshu pulled me into a tight hug. "2 days. Just wait 2 days" he hushed into the crook of my neck. I nodded and he teleported leaving a rippled effect.

I locked my window and laid on my bed. My eyes slowly closed and a dreamless slumber took over me.

I HATE THIS CHAPTER SOOOO... MUCH! But I didn't have anything else so sorry if it sucked. I just wanted to update as soon as possible for you FABULOUS people.
