My Little Koneko-chan (Kisshu and Ichigo Fanfic)

Chapter 19

Kisshu POV

The darkness slowly started to fade from my eyes. My breathing was heavy and I was over-hyperventilating. I quickly pinched myself hard and the sting made me relax a bit knowing I wasn't dead... yet.

I tried to get my breathing under control, but then I heard footsteps running behind me. I quickly turned around to see an empty hallway. I ran to the end hoping it wasn't one of the stupid Black Nights. The hallway was empty.

I was most likely hallucinating things due to being shaken up from the rough travel.

I begin to slowly sneak around hoping to find a door to Ichigo. The hallways began to get long and bare. There were little to no doors and the only ones that I found were just storage or empty rooms.

The place really changed after defeating Deep Blue. The whole place is like a giant maze. I finally recognized a big giant door.

More specifically the door that leads to Deep Blue's corridors. I turned the handle down a quarter of the way down to prevent it from clicking. I pushed the door gently open. I slid my body through the crack and tip toed quickly  behind some rubble.

As if planned the upper door swung open creating a large bang. Then a blue light appeared.

"What's with all the racket?!" A deep, dark voiced boomed throughout the corridors.

Deep Blue. He's alive.  Great...

"This imbecile slept on the job and so the girl got away!" A irritated voice yelled back.

I peaked behind the rubble to see an angry Ren holding Kuro's wrist. Kuro shamefully looked down at the ground.

"HOW DARE YOU! SHE WAS ARE ONLY HOPE TO GETTINNG RID OF THOSE TRAITORS AND MEW MEW GIRLS! DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOU HAVE DONE!" Deep Blue's infuriated voice screamed at Kuro. What the hell is he talking about?

"Yes, sir." Kuro quietly said and cowered to Deep Blue.

"With her extraordinary powers, we could've used them to wipe out the humans including those pesky Mew Mew girls and them idiotic Aliens!"

'Hey! I'm quite smart!' I retorted back in my head. 'He shouldn't be talking.'

"Those extreme weather devices you planted, aren't strong enough to wipe out entire world in a day! It would take years! Centuries! Before the population would die off!" Deep Blue continued to rant off to the two Black Nights.

"Then once the humans are finally gone, whose gonna clean up the mess they created on Earth? Obviously not your pathetic self. With her healing capabilities, we could restore the planet in two days! Then I will become the next ruler of the New World!"

Ichigo!

I had to get out of here and find Ichigo. I began to sneak out the door I came from when I saw a hand push against the door. I quickly backed away from the door as it slowly opened wider.

"Hey you left the door open! It's creating a draft in here," another Black Night appeared with his hands rubbing his arms as if he is trying to stay warm.

"Do you mind, Fugi?!" Ren snapped at Fugi.

Fugi rolled his eyes. "The monitor in the lab shows signs of portal activity. A trespasser arrived."

Ren angrily sighed. He turned to Deep Blue and asked, "What do you want me to do about his stupidity?"

"Hmmmm... Put him in the dungeon for a the night and then find the girl," Deep Blue commanded.

As Ren started pulling Kuro away, Deep Blue interrupted, "Wait! If you do one more stupid thing that will interfere with the task at hand, you will not have my mercy. Consider yourself lucky that it's only for the night" he hissed at Kuro.

Kuro nodded and whispered a yes sir as he was taken away. The Blue Light faded away and the room was quiet.

Fugi sighed and scoffed saying 'what a kill joy' before walking out of the door he came from and closing it.

I waited for a little bit making sure Fugi had walked far away from the door. I got up quickly and quietly walked to the door that Fugi just exited and peeked. The hallway was empty.

It was time to find Ichigo and finally bring her home.

That was until I heard something crash to he floor right behind me while I was running through hallways.
