My Little Koneko-chan (Kisshu and Ichigo Fanfic)

Chapter 20

Ichigo POV

I started to wake up, but it was hard to actually get up. My head was heavy and my limbs have given up much like my spirit. I didn't know if I should just stay here forever or try to find a way out.

I wonder what Kisshu would do. I wonder what he's doing right now. I wonder how the other girls are doing. I just wish things were like how they were before.

I wanted to get up and find a way out and go home, but I'm too scared. I'm too scared to do anything.

Maybe I should use my Mew Mew powers.

"Mew Mew Strawberry; Metamorphosis!" I yelled in a whisper voice. I tried with all my heart to activate the Mew Mew charm.

I smiled a little as I felt my body start to shift. Finally something was going my way.

I opened my eyes and my smile completely vanished. I look at my once hands to see black paws. I guess I didn't have enough power to turn into the Mew Mew state, but instead into a cat. Great...

I tipped toed on my paws towards the exit of the vent. I peaked through the vent slits to see if anyone was there. It was hard to see, but I don't think I can hear anyone. Hopefully now that I'm a cat I can get around and find a way out.

I tried to push it open. Maybe in this smaller form, I will be able to move around more easier without getting caught.

I tried to grab the vent and open it, but I kept failing miserably. Without my posable thumbs I won't be able to open anything.

I would have to push on it hard, when the vent falls on the floor it will create a loud bang and they would find me.

Either keep trying to fumble the vent open which would waste time or push against the vent which would create a loud noise and attract attention.

I began to fumble with the bottom of the vent door hoping to wiggle it free with my teeth and claws. My head wasn't able to get into the right position to get a good grab at it. I tried to claw at the bottom, but eventually I came to realize that even if I do unlatch the bottom whose to say the whole thing won't pop off and that would mean I wasted time and attracted attention.

I backed up about a foot and a half away from the vent door and prepared myself to open it and then run for the hills. I took a deep breath in and out.

In and out.

I began to run at the door and flung the side of my body against the vent. I could here the door pop right open and then rattle against the floor. Once I got back up to my feet, I dashed to the left not even paying attention to where I am.

And then suddenly I run into something hard.

A hard leg to be exact...

Anxiety overwhelmed me as I slowly looked to see who was in my path. It quickly vanquished as my eyes recognized the familiar green hair. He turned around and jolted at the sight of me.

Once he processed what had happened, his brows furrowed in confusion. "What are you doing here little kitty?" Kisshu questioned as he picked me up. He looked deep into my eyes as I begged for him to recognize who I was.

It's me!! I missed you, please notice it's me, I continued to beg in my head over and over.

Suddenly the the confusion in his eyes slowly disappeared and was replaced with happiness and perhaps a bit of love too.

I guess the cat is out of the bag...

Kisshu's POV

Black cat... Ichigo's bedroom... Ichigo... Ichigo's underwear... wait... not that... Ichigo is... the black cat...

My mind was racing as I stared upon the cute little, black cat. My little Koneko-chan. I have her. I've been rummaging through the empty halls for hours. I pressed my forehead against her soft, furry one as she purred. I rubbed my nose against her's with affection. In return, he sandpaper tongue licked the corner of my mouth. All of a sudden in a puff of smoke, Ichigo was back into her normal, beautiful human self.

My heart was beating so fast as I smiled at my beautiful little Koneko-chan. She softly smiled back as her eyes were brimming with tears. I leaned closer to her face feeling the heat from her blushing cheeks as I gently licked her single tear away. I held her so tight against my body. Never wanting to let her go again.

"I..." she began, but I quickly stopped her by kissing her passionately on her lips while sucking on her bottom lip. "Don't say anything and just let me love on you... I missed you so much." I whispered against her lips.

I began to feel my eyes sting as tears rolled down my face mixing with hers. I haven't cried for a long time, not since the last attack on Deep Blue and my supposed death.

We embraced each other for a minute longer. Just one more minute...

"Kisshu's, I wanna go home," she sobbed into my shirt. "Let's go home princess."

I grabbed her hand tightly, intertwining my fingers with hers. I gently tugged her to the direction of where I entered from the portal. "Wait!" She yelled, " We have to save Kuro!"

I quietly groan to myself thinking about that moron.

"He saved my life by helping me escape," she proceeded noticing my displacements of Kuro.

Since he saved my baby girl...

A life for a life...

Even though his is pretty worthless. I frowned.
