Description: Y/n works at scoops ahoy with Steve and Robin. She secretly has a massive crush on Robin but doesn't admit it. Dustin is also in this story so just pretend nothing had happened with the russians yet:) Y/n is Dustins sister btw. Have fun reading this!

"Y/N WAKE UP!" I heard the precious voice of my brother yelling from another room. I groaned and rubbed my eyes. "Coming!" I yelled back. Shit! what time is it? I looked at my alarm clock and panic rised in my chest. Fuck! It was already 10 am, i was supposed to be at work an hour ago. I rush out of bed and quickly throw on my scoops ahoy work outfit. I hated it, I looked stupid in the sailors costume. I throw my hair in a quick ponytail and quickly put on some mascara and eyeliner. I ran downstairs and grabbed an apple for breakfast. "Can I come with you?" My brother asked, suddenly appearing from behind me. I jumped a little, still half asleep. "Sure, hop in." I reply while walking outside and getting in my car. "Awesome! free ice cream!" He exlaims. I roll my eyes and start the car. "Don't even think about it." I reply, while softly hitting his shoulder.

When we arrive at starcourt mall I drive around the parking lot a couple times because there's barely any spots left for my car to park. I groan and park my car somewhere in the back. "Let's go, hurry!" I say as I pull my brother with me. I basically run to scoops and when I get there Steve and Robin are already handing out icecream. Steve desperately trying to flirt with girls, and Robin just mocking him, looking beautifull as always. "Hey guys." I say as I get to the register. "You're late." Robin remarks. "No shit." I reply, still a little out of breath. "Sorry, I slept through my alarm." I add. Steve laughs. "Next time set more alarms, we have been doing your work all morning." He says. "Oh and hi Dustin." He adds. I roll my eyes and take the ice cream scooper from Robin. When our hands slightly brush I feel my cheeks heat up a little, gosh what was going on with me!? "Take a break Rob, I'll take over from here." I say. "Great, thanks." She nods and goes to the back room. 

Me and steve had been slinging icecream for a while when a pretty girl came up to the register. I nudge steve's shoulder, hinting at him to make a move on her. I expect her to walk over to him, but instead she walks over to me. "Hi, y/n right?" She asks, twirling her hair. "Uhh yeah, what can I do for you?" I reply. She smirks and makes eye contact with me. "I don't know actually, do you have any good reccomendations?" She says while still twirling her hair. "Oh uhm." I turn to Steve for help, was this girl flirting with me?! "Steve, any reccomendations?" He doesn't answer, he just snickers. "No I want your  reccomendation." She implies, leaning onto the counter a bit. "oh uhm, I really like strawberry, cherries are good too." I stutter, jeez this girl was really flirting with me. "Cherries huh?" She smirks. "I'll have that then." I take an icecream cone and fill it with cherry flavour and hand it to her. She takes it and brushes her hand over mine. She smiles and licks the ice cream. "Mhmm that's delicious, how much do I owe you?" She asks. "Uh $1 please." She hands me a 5 dollar bill and smiles. "keep the change." She winks and walks away. "Thanks!" I smile awkwardly and turn to Steve. "What the hell?" I exlaim when the girl was gone. He laughs. "She was definitly hitting on you." He says. "yeah I figured." I laugh too. 

"Steve, go take a break." I heard Robin say from behind us. Her jaw was clenched a bit and her eyes narrowed. "Everything okay rob?" I ask. "Yeah sure, everything is fine." She replies, her tone desperately trying not to sound mad, but its still noticeable. "Okay... I'll go take a break too." I drop my scooper and follow Steve to the backroom. Dustin was sitting there too, sipping from a milkshake cup. "What did I say about no free ice cream?!" I say, trying to snatch the cup from him. "Hey! technically this isn't ice cream! and Robin gave it to me." Dustin explains. He snatches the cup back and takes a sarcastic sip. I roll my eyes and sit down on the counter next to the window. I heard Robin talk to a customer, she still sounded a bit annoyed. "Guess who gets more bitches than Steve?" I say in a mocking tone. Steve rolls his eyes. "Shut up, its this stupid hat, I'm telling you!" Dustin looks a bit confused. "I thought you were single." He asks me. "I am, but a girl just flirted with me." I explained. "ooh." Dustin said. He and Steve both knew that I was gay, I had told them a while ago, and they were super supportive. Dustin turned his head to Steve. "Steve, we really need to get you a girlfriend. Besides, I don't even get why you're still single when you have the perfect girl right in front of you!" Steve turns his head to me, then to dustin, then to me again. "Dude! I'm not gonna date your sister!" He exclaims. "Ew! Gross! get that thought out of your head right now!" I exclaim back. Dustin puts his hand on his forehead. "You guys are so dumb, I meant Robin obviously." He explains. "No way, not gonna happen buddy." Steve replies. I feel a knot in my stomach and try to push that feeling away. "Why not?" Dustin pushes. "just no, Robin is really not my type!" Steve exclaims. "Hey don't disrespect Rob like that, she is the most gorgeous girl I've ever laid my eyes on. You better watch your mouth!" I suddenly confess. Steve laughs, and Dustin seems confused. "Is that so?" I hear a familliar voice from behind me. Shit! I think, my cheeks go bright red and my eyes widen. Robin had opened the window and joined the conversation. I nervously turned my head to look at her and tried to come up with what to say. "Yeah ofcourse cutieptootie." I wink and try to make it sound like a joke. Robin smirks and closes the window again. I let out a deep sigh. "Reason number two, this." Steve says, while gesturing to what had just happened. I schrunched my brows. "What do you mean by that?" I stutter. "Oh nothing, just the fact that you two are madly in love with eachother." He whispers. I gasp. "How dare you! Thats- I-" I try to defend myself, but fail miserably. Steve and Dustin are cracking up. I get up from the counter and hit them both with a magazine. "Shut up! she's not into me anyways." I admitted. "Mhm sure, you should shoot your shot." Steve says. "You know what, I'll leave work earlier so you two can have some time alone." He adds and grins. "No way." I shake my head. "C'mon, what's the worst that can happen?" Steve pushes. I sigh. "Oh I don't know, maybe that she doesn't like me back and starts to hate me? or worse, tell the whole town." I whisper-yell. Steve rolls his eyes. "Robin would never, you know that." He says. I shrug. "Alright then, maybe." Steve smiles and highfives Dustin. "Can't wait." He says. 

When it's almost closing time Steve does as he promised. "Hey guys, I've got a bit of a headache, you wouldn't mind if I leave early right?" He lied. Robin rolled her eyes. "Sure dingus, take care." She said. "Can you drop me off home too?" Dustin asked. "Sure, c'mon." He answered, and steve and Dustin left. "See you later!" I called after them. When the boys were gone, and it was just me and Robin in the shop I felt very nervous. God, what am I gonna do?! Closing time came and Robin was already busy cleaning up. I went into the back to pack my stuff. I took a deep breath, I had to say something to Robin, I promised Steve after all. "So, why were you talking about me this afternoon?" Robin suddenly appeared behind me and I jumped. "Oh, uhm, Dustin was telling Steve how he should ask you out, he didn't really like that." I giggled nervously. "Steve doesn't have a thing for me does he?" Robin asked, a slight hint of fear in her voice. "Oh no, he doesn't." I assure her. I was wondering if Robin was dissapointed by that, I couldn't really read her. "Great." She whispered. She took a few steps closer. "Robin?" I began, immediatly regretting everything. "Yeah?" She answered. "You don't have a thing for him, right?" I asked and bit my lower lip, dreading her response. She giggled. "God no, he's such a dingus!" She replied. I giggled too. "Great, good, uhm, cool." I stuttered. Robin grabbed my hand, my heart made a little jump in exitement. What was she doing? "Y/n?" she looked me in my eyes. "I'd rather have you shoot your shot anyways." She whispered. I was completely shocked, did she just...? "Y-you do?" I asked, my voice filled with disbelief. "Yeah..." she aswered, her voice barely above a whisper. I lean forward and cup her face. I don't think twice and plant my lips onto hers. I hear her gasp and feel her pull away slightly. 

Fuck, shit, goddamnit. She probably didn't mean it that way and now she probably hates me! panic and embarassment rises in my chest and I take a step away. "I'm so sorry, I definitly shouldn't have done that oh my god." I run my hands through my hair and look at the ground. "I'm so so sorry-" "Y/n?" "I'm so stupid and if you never want to talk to me again I get it and-" "Y/n?!" "I'm so sor-" I feel Robin tug on the collar of my shirt and her lips on mine. I was shocked but kissed her back pasionately. I melted into the kiss and wrapped my arms around her body, pulling her as close as possible. Robin's hands moved from my cheeks to my waist, pulling me even closer with a fierce urgency that took my breath away. Before I could fully comprehend what was going on my back touched the wall, Robin's body pressed against me. It sent a thrill of exitement through my body. I could feel the heat radiating off her skin, the faint scent of her perfume filling the air, the gentle pressure of her body pressed against mine in all the right places. I melted into her touch as Robin continued moving her lips hungrily against mine. I roamed my hands over her back and grabbed a handfull of her shirt, pulling her even closer. 

When we finally pulled apart for some air I looked into her eyes. Our breath was heavy and sharp. I rested my forehead against hers. "Wow.. I- That was..." I begun, but was quickly cut off by another kiss. her lips trailed down to my neck, leaving a trail of hot kisses behind. I felt my breath hitch and I bit my lips while resting my head against the wall. Suddenly all the lights went off and Robin looked up at me with confusion. "What's going on?" She said, her voice still raspy from kissing me. I looked at my watch. "I think they're closing down the mall, it's pretty late." I whispered. She cleared her throat and grabbed my hand. "Oh shit, better get going then." She smirked and pecked my lips once more, before we went outside.

The parking lot was empty when we left the mall, exept for my car, which was on the other side of the parking lot. "Do you need a ride?" I asked Robin. "I'm fine, I'm on my bike." She said while putting on her helmet. She looked really cute, I always wondered how she managed to make the sailors outfit look good on her. "Alright, see you tomorrow then." I smiled. "See you tomorrow." We stood there in silence for a few seconds, I wanted to give her a goodbye-kiss but people might see us, so I didn't. I smiled again and then began to walk to my car.

When I arrived home it seemed everybody was asleep and I plopped down on the couch. "Where have you been? It's 10 pm!" I heard from behind me. "Jeez, Dustin! You almost gave me a heart attack!" I yelled. He chuckled and sat down next to me. "So? How about you and Robin." He asked. I smiled while I replayed what had happened this night. "We uhm, kissed." I said with a grin. "Really?!" Dustin jumped into my arms and I hugged him back tightly. "Yeah!" I smiled from ear to ear. "I'm so proud of you!" He sat back up and smiled at me. "I'm so happy for you." He said, his voice filled with sincerity. I jawned. "I should go to bed, goodnight dusty." I patted his head and headed to my room. As I fell asleep I could only think about Robin, I couldn't wait to see her again tommorow.
